  • What Song Does The Beay At The End Come From ???.....

  • @tsanders1203 Terumasa Hino - Yellow Jacket

  • Does anyone know the sample for this? Anyone who can answer that, thanks and peace

  • @Kaya93TV Cleo Laine - I Believe You; you hear the sample around the end.

  • I remember when I bought this CD from the now defunct Fatbeats store on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. I said to myself, this is some of the most amazing production I've ever heard. Almost 10 years later, and it's still bangin!

  • "i know i'm husky/chicks still love me" FACT. phonte is sexy. i went to see him & 9th & a bunch of jl a few months ago. when he came out i screamed like a fool lol

  • @missbonita23 Ha ha :-))

  • I remember my boyfriend at the time got mad at me and threaten to throw my Little Brother Listening cd out the window because I didn't play his demo more than this album hahaha

  • yo this that real hip hop shit its not that watered down hip hop i aint gonna say no names but yall already know who im talking about

  • I wish he was as big as lil wayne :(

  • @harleyattack If a Lil wayne fan heard this they would be life wtf? They don't know their music man. Just be happy that real hip hop heads understand the difference

  • @armndserna777 actually i'm a lil wayne fan and this is a joint i hear like evreyday so what are you really trying to say? i am confused :l

  • @jhammaster

Can I ask you what you like about wayne? i heard he doesn´t even write his own lyrics

  • @ChefRaekwon94 dude i just had an argumment with someone about that. he hasn't wrote after 500 degreez so he can remember things touring wayne is very intelligent and a very great person when you talk to him in interviews he isn't as commercial as you hear in music and when it comes to serious music wayne can be that mixtapes aren't serious with him nor commercial music.

  • @jhammaster

    He's speaking in general.

I agree with him that if a Lil Wayne fan woulda heard this you would get a "wtf is this" from them. the reactions i get when i introduce a underground song to them all i get is "i like the beat" or "this song must be old... i never heard it before" but all of them in the end say "weak a** lyrics" because their's no drug references, ho's, or any of that.

i kno there's ppl like you that listen to both (don't kno how lol) but generally speaking...

  • @jp246810 simple i grew up in the 90's lol

  • @jp246810 yeah but you have to understand there are some wayne fans that actually would like ANYthing that sounds good even if it means this track.

  • one of the best albums ever made........and then this track has some incredible remixes

  • i heard a version of this wit maxwell on loop in the beat...absolutely sick!!!

  • one of the best!

  • Saw them live... when they did this track everyone in the building lost their damn mind!

  • There is a diffrent version of this track where they are the productions is the same but the verse's are sligty diffrent and the begginging of the track starts from low to loud that is the best version of this track by far!

  • whats the sample?

  • Cant stop head bobbin

  • " got ya head still bobbin and my verse Didnt Rhyme,, so its Whatevuh Gurllll"

    Nuff Said

  • Amazing song.... Very soulful...

  • The Sample is from "I Believe You" from Cleo Laine

  • Which song(s) did he sample?

  • @JasonK1992 The female vocal is Cleo Laine's I Believe You.

The "Say what?" and "Alright" are from Doug E. Fresh's Nuthin.

  • Most underrated group ever.

  • 9th does it again..lovin that eric b and rakim shout out at the end

  • yo he is very very under rated

  • if u aint heard the original version of this you missin out

  • if it wasn't for Pandora i woulda never heard of these guys...

  • This is real crack music, I just cant enough, those are some hypnotic beats!

  • this music is beautiful bruh......thank god i heard this on the radio....lol

  • what radio station?

  • Most Underrated Rap Group in the industry

  • @dubsishe so true

  • @dubsishe

I just found about these cats like 5 yrs ago.... I downloaded it by accident from Limewire!

  • lmao after like 50 times hearing this song, and i just realized that verse by phonte actually didnt rhyme. flow's so nice you don't even notice!

  • that beat at the end was the shit too.

  • everones talkin bout phonte's first verse and how it didnt rhyme but yo what you really need to admire is his second verse. that shit was magical. not only did he prove that he could rhyme, but he proved that at the time he was one, if the best mc on the planet.

  • But chicks still love me, 3 O'clock have their ass runnin' to waffle house for me!!!!

  • pete rocks way better then this 1 no disrespect 2 9th tho.

  • First time I heard this song was with 9th wonder's remix. Heard this original a while after, but could never bump it like the remix... REAL SMOOTH beat, but 9th's remix fits the lyrics perfectly.

  • 9th's original version is the best, that PR remix is too soft IMO

  • Great song! american hip hop is the best! Peace and Blessings from Japan!

  • North Kak's finest!!!!!!!!!!!

    Southeast Raleigh!!!!!!!!!!!

Not the high school, the area baby.

    Enloe forever

  • Great Song! Little Brother really needs to reunite with Pooh, Phonte and 9th Wonder all there. Hip-Hop could use some rejuvenation.

  • They supposed to drop one more album this year but I don't know if 9th is going to be on that joint.

  • Unfortunately, he will not produce for any of the songs on the album, based off of the tracklist that was already provided. I was even shocked that Nicolay didn't produce a single track either.

  • @lpfan091989 That is not a good sign. I love Phonte and Big Pooh and all, but damn, 9th brings that hot shit.

  • They need to get back together. 9th said that if Phonte and Pooh would be down for a reunion he is all for it so hopefully they decide to do at least just one last collab so Hip-Hop can die peacefully...

  • @tdwalk06 mostly Khrysis on the beats, but if 9th is 1, that cat is like 1A. Beautiful beats.

  • yeah ppl who listen to the industry music are corrupted lol little brother phonte pooh

    9th is hip hop..so soulful

  • I've been playing this song for about 3-4 years now... this song IS SO FIRE... THE BEAT IS RIDICULOUS!!

  • the comedy behind it i was bumpin this track in my whip and the heads i had in the car were bashing it.. all i did was laugh and said stop listening to the radio and open your mind...

  • Very great song one of my favs! Btw, is that beat in the last section of this video an actual song? If so what's the name of it and by who? Please and thank you!

  • Blasting this on repeat.....again & again & again!

  • one of 9ths best

  • b-e-a-utiful. man i wish theyd play some like this on the radio instead of the mainstream shit i hear all the damn time that shit annoys the fuck out of me lol

  • you gona sweat a nigga when you thank he got a cash advance

  • i fucking love this song. they make an amazing trio. 9th wonder is beyond great

  • @TrueTrife im jealous like hell rite now

  • @Knowledg3X haha! in the 8 months since I last posted my comment, 2 uncles and 4 cousins of mine have tried to steal or bargain this album from me..it's that good.

  • @TrueTrife Lucky!I am just now discovering this. So what you are saying is Iam going to have lie , cheat or steal for this? Dang........:-)

  • @TrueTrife I am mad jealous that you do own it. I'm still trying to look for it. haha

  • i love how they remake the commentary from Paid in Full by Eric B. and Rakim at the end of the song

  • i ride with these niggas in my ear EVERYDAY.

Phonte is the truth as far as lyricism goes! anybody who thinks other wise can suck a sick dick. and Big Pooh? ha! seriousness at it's best!

  • i LOOOOOVE tHAT SAMPLE

IT MAKES THE SONG TO ME

    "OOOOOH BABY, IIIII BELIEVE YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU"

  • Still can't get enough of this album and it's been 6 years. Feels good to listen to this shit.

  • 9th wonder killin' the beat, exactly what hip hop should be

  • head still bobbin and my verse didnt rhyme....so ill

  • @AGAscension

Yo that isn't a lie his verse doesn't rhyme at all... fucking sick.

  • Peeps, this is the hiphop to listen to on a rainy day. Serious......

  • word...this is 9th Wonder at his best and Phonte is on point on this track

  • just putcha number down girl

  • dis dat shyt i mean come on dat nigga was dead serius he had ya head still noddn n his verse aint evn rhyme

  • dem my niggas so underrated little brother are nicer then most of these rappers real talk

  • Sorry Phonte, I didn't realize your verse wasn't rhyming because my head was bobbin' off of 9th Wonders beat!

  • whats funny is that he admits it at the end haha.. shits dope
