  • As Neil said "you don't have to make sense to make meaning"

  • "someone bound to have glory... someone bound to live less.." it hit me so hard. wow, STSATR has just become my favorite NY song. especially the live version. i've just swore to myself that I will have to see this man live at least once in my life!

  • NY is such the emotive minstrel. I /we feel what he can express via words together with music. What a gift - for me - I'm glad to be alive during his time. I miss the sound of those train whistles...thanks for uploading this one.

  • Wonderful song.Well done.Great applause...earned.

  • where that people that him go?

  • " whistle blowing down my brain"

  • I spent so much time listening to his bootlegs in high school when my brother left the house to get stoned on weekends and I could listen to his LPs. Neil is the consumate and most lovely bum out artist in music--some of these songs have such sweet sentiment that you forget their wistfulness

  • awesome performance by the one and only NY

  • I hold back tears when he comes to the line "broke it down the middle" and then pauses.

  • So glad I bought this CD a few years ago.... beautiful.

  • Guarda il cielo sta per piovere

    Nuvole frastagliate e pioggia

    La locomotiva traina il treno

Il fischio attraversa il mio cervello

I segnali si incrociano sul vasto tavoliere

    Ripercorrendo i binari

Guarda il cielo sta per piovere..

  • I know I'll sound like an old hippy, but there just no one that good around today.

  • @jmcknewry its true, but there is jack white...he amazing search p his song blue veins with the raconteurs (album version is the best one)

  • @jmcknewry my kids (10 and 8) complain when they ride in the car with me, and have to listen to this. or the rolling stones, floyd etc. i tell them theres a reason people still listen to stuff that was written 35,40, 50 yrs. ago.
