REMEMBER YOU HAVE TIME CHANGE TO THE ISLAM , READ QURAN AND ASK FOR FORGIVENESS FROM ALLAH,

ALLAH IS MOST GREAT AND MOST MERSIFUL . YOU HAVE TIME ON BEFORE DIED ASK FOR FORGIVENESS FROM ALLAH.
People has given God different names but the name I'm talking about came out of God's mouth. God's Name as revealed in Ex 3:14, , Ahyh, is correctly translated as "I Will Be." The Burning Bush's full answer to Moses, then, is "I Will Be What I Will Be."
Yet, almost universally, the English speaking world translates this as "I Am What I Am."
But the important thing is that this is the Name God called Himself, Glory to His Name!
Deuteronomy 18:18 "I will raise for them a Prophet like you (Moses) from among their brethren and will put My words in his mouth, and he shall speak unto them, all that I command him" so jesus was a prophet just like moses was ?? if he was son of god did the previous prophets beleive in the trinity ?? iam sure they didnot
I really like the part 0: 20 where Jesus says "I will pray the Father, and HE shall give you another comforter" WHY NOT I SHALL GIVE YOU ANOTHER COMFORTER WHY DOES HE NEED THE FATHER'S PERMISSION/ WHY DOES HE NEED THE FATHER AT ALL?
@syazwankhan no he did not call him allah he called him 'ELAH' which is the aramaic word meaning God. It is similar to the arabic word 'ILAHU' which also means God. They both share no connection to the word allah which is unique only to arabic. the reason it is unique is probably because the name 'allah' is ripped from the word 'AL'ILAH' which is the name of one of the pagan gods mohammed worshipped in his youth.
@thompsond55 Haha. What a joke. Prophet Muhamamd never worship pagan gods fyi. Hes the final messenger of God and God protected him from worshipping false gods. FYI, Arab Christians and Jews have been calling upon God as Allah even before prophet Muhammad was born. So its obvious that you're in great error.
@syazwankhan 'Prophet' Muhammed did worship pagan gods actually. the crescent moon that symbolizes islam comes from the symbol that used to be associated with Al'Ilah, god of the moon. its historical fact look it up. in fact did muhammed not encourage the pagans at some point to worship the pagan goddesses to get them on his side? he then took it back and said satan made him say it ha Also, nobody ever called God allah either. it is never mentioned in the bible as allah nor in the torah as allah
@thompsond55 history shows arab christians and jews have been calling upon God as Allah. So you are misinformed. Muhammad worship Allah alone. And this video is a proof that Jesus call upon God as Allah in aramiac. You are denying the truth when it is right in front of your eyes
@syazwankhan history does not show that. that is what your muslim scholars tell you even though it is not backed by any archaelogical or histrical find or artefact. i bet you even think that the Qu'ran is authentic? my friend the Qu'ran has had verses changed and chapters missing from hundreds and hundreds of years. look it up.
And no in the video above jesus says 'ELAH' which has nothing to do with the word 'ALLAH'.. you are like a broken record my friend..
@thompsond55 the original copies of the quran still exist and its still the same as the quran we have now. unlike the bible which the original copies have yet to be found, the only ones left are the corrupted translated copies in greek and some hebrew copies. the word Elah has got MAJOR thing to do with the word Allah. the root word is the same. its made up of Aleph Lamed Heth. it refers to the same GOD. the God of Abram.
@syazwankhan God is not God's name.The God of the universe has a name but "God" isn't it. "God" is what God is. "Human being" is not your name,"Human being" is what you are. God said to Moses,"I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Issac, and the God of Jacob." "I AM WHO I AM"; and He said, "Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, `I AM has sent me to you.'"
The English transliteration of God's personal name I AM WHO I AM is YHWH. With vowels added: YAHWEH
@sy. YOU SAY ...that YHWH is not exclusive but thats because YOU reject truths in the TORAH which plainly say that the One true God that the jewish people had to do with had a name and Moses asked God what his name was and the One true eternal ever exiestant God answered and said "Iam that Iam" which is in hebrew script YHWH. iF YOU WANT TO CONTINUE TO DENY TORAH, AND BELIEVE OTHERWISE? then you continue at your own peril and your very soul in danger. If you deny YHWH, then YHWH will deny you
@yngnikko90 Sorry that your prophet was a horrible person.
Anyway, "we know for a fact and you just said the "Ccomforter" will come in Jesus's lifetime." Huh? That makes no sense. God came to Moses in Moses' lifetime, therefore, I guess God is human. Nice logic! "The Holy Quran mentions prophet Jesus 99 more than prophet Muhammad" The Qur'an only mentions Jesus 25 times. >.>......And ZOMG the media! Its a conspiracy! Idiot.
@yngnikko90 1. Muhammad has never mean't comforter, please show me where anyone called Muhammad the comforter, and if they did, it shouldn't matter as Muhammad is dead, and still a liar in Hell. 2. Nowhere does it say the comforter will be human, show me where. 3. John 14:26 clearly says its the Holy Spirit. 4. The Spirit does speak, but not on His behalf.
And lastly, I will send you a PM on at least 10 reasons why Muhammad can not be the comforter.
@ServantoftheElohim Yes dear.. and i would like to add.. Holy Spirit is eternal means would never die .. Holy Spirit is Omnipotent,Omnipresent .. but what about muhammad ? he is a sinner .. Allah said muhammad to ask for his forgiveness for his faults...
Respond to this video... read “So know (O Muhammad) that La ilaha ill-Allah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah), and ask forgiveness for your sin, and also for (the sin of) believing men and believing women. And Allah knows well your moving about, and your place of rest (in your homes).”
@yngnikko90 Muhammad means "the praised one". I suggest you stop lying for your faith.
"the Holy Spirit doesnt talkbuddy" Thats where you're wrong. The Holy Ghost DOES speak. And when He speaks, you better listen.
Jesus also says the Comforter/Advocate/Helper is the Holy Ghost: John 14:26 "But the Comforter/Advocate, THE HOLY SPIRIT, whom the Father will SEND IN MY NAME, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you."
"Jesus prophesized "Manahma" As this video proves, Manahma is NOT Muhammad or Ahmed. The root word for Manahma is nachma, it means comforter. Just because you find a word that sounds similar, does not mean its the same.
"your priests back then changed the Bible "corrupted"" So, your God is a easily defeated wimp? Sorry, but my God, the True Elohim, who is Creator and Judge, will NEVER allow His Word to be corrupted.
@yngnikko90 I don't care if its in the video. But fact is: When He would have preached Torah, He WOULD have spoke Hebrew. And He spoke to Samaritans. Samaritans kept the Hebrew language. And you can't confirm what language Jesus prayed in, as the Gospels never says the language he prayed in.
P.S. "Jews & Muslims think Christianity is corrupt & false" Ok, guess what? Jews think Islam is corrupt and false. We Christians think Islam is corrupt and false. We also think Judaism is incomplete.
The Israelites never named there religion Judaism. We never find there beliefs to be called "Judaism". But back to what languages Jesus spoke: Wouldn't it have been silly if the Messiah, the Son of David, couldn't understand or speak Hebrew, what the Jews regarded as the "Lashon Ha Kodesh" the sacred language?
@yngnikko90 I never said Jesus was white, I dislike the modern view of Jesus being a white man. Do you ignore the possibility of Jesus knowing multiple languages? Where Jesus grew up, many people spoke Greek. It was very multicultural & multilingual in Galilee. Learning Greek would have been easy. And we know he did, since the Gospel writers records Him speaking to Gentiles. But Jesus probably got a great Jewish education as a boy, so he would have read Torah in Hebrew.
@yngnikko90 1. I know what the word "Islam" means. 2. I REALLY don't care if Islam wasn't named after anybody. The religion has changed so much over the last 1400 years.Not only that, The Hebrew religion, NEVER had a name (And certainly wasn't Judaism!). There have been many past religions with no name. 3. Jesus was a Jewish Rabbi, He would have known Hebrew and would have said "Elohim". He also knew Greek and would have said "Theos" when speaking to His Gentile/Greek audience.
@yngnikko90 1. Islam IS a religion, Muslims praise that its the "True religion" or "religion of peace". 2. The Jews think your religion is false to. 3. Sorry, what? I don't worship any Jews, sorry. NO Christians worships the Jews, they are just as damned and lost as you are.
@yngnikko90 1. You didn't give verses, you quoted Wikipedia. 2. You didn't prove anything. 3. You're the liar, not me. Look into the mirror for a change, k?
@yngnikko90 You didn't prove anything.".they get on one knee and stand in front of the cross and pray" I think you're thinking about what Catholics do. But they aren't praying to the cross. They kneel on one knee, in front of the altar, and do the sign of the cross (It represents the Trinity). We don't worship a man. God became a man, not man became a God. "why does God have to come down to earth to save humanity, he can do it from the heavens hes God." Have you studied the atonement?
@yngnikko90 Uh, no we don't worship a cross. We don't bow down to it and call it God or ask it to guide us, we ask the Holy Spirit to do that.
And what evidence do you have that Christianity is corrupted?
"God said thou shall not compare me to any human nor even think about how God looks like......" Ok??????? Btw, that doesn't appear in the Bible, sorry.
@yngnikko90 Yes, its three persons, we know that? But we don't deny there being ONE God. Just read The Athanasian Creed.
"No its not in the BIBLE even your Christian scholars admit it" 1. I proved its there. 2. BS, the only ones who deny there being the Trinity, are Arians (Heretics).
"the trinity concept came from the Romans" Fail, the Trinity is seen throughout early church writings.
Jesus' spirit didn't die, the flesh did.
And, I don't worship a cross. I worship the Holy Trinity.
"nowhere in the Bible will you find the word Trinity" Sure, but we find the concept ( (Genesis 1:1, 26; 3:22; 11:7; Isaiah 6:8, 48:16, 61:1; Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14).
@yngnikko90 You obviosuly don't know much about Trinitarian beliefs. We believe in ONE GOD.
The Athanasian Creed says: "Now this is the catholic faith: We worship one God in trinity and the Trinity in unity, neither confusing the persons nor dividing the divine being. For the Father is one person, the Son is another, and the Spirit is still another. But the deity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is one, equal in glory, coeternal in majesty."
Dear Muslim brothers, do not debate with Christians and Jews, verily their books are corrupted long time ago and the news of Muhammad (Salallahualaihiwasalam) was hide by them long time ago in the time of Prophet. our duty is only to inform the truth so its up to them now to believe or disbelieve. Allah will judge them and only He can guide them.
@bucklehairy. oh brother I hate a debate on the net, but if you want we debate on the whole bible ,sorry to tell you that you're convincing yourself by lies that you know it is and you like it by being blind and def.read the chapter in greek and go to google translation and see but use your brain to find the truth. and read all the bible if you can because l'm sure you don't know your own bible .is not an insulte brother, there are bibles in arameic and make your own translation and judge it.
What exactly are you trying to accomplish here? Some form of encrypted Arabic in Aramaic words or the other way around? Like /man + ahma/ = /who [is] ahma[d]/? If so, doesn't this ring a bell?! Remember Luxenberg's Syrio-Aramaic reading of the Qur'an. I believe you're only making things worse for yourself in overemphasising the linguistic relationship between Arabic and Aramaic. Don't you see that this video is essentially helpful to you?
@Bucklehairy Search the internet as well for the name Menachem, as in Menachem Begin. Where does the name Menachem come from in the Hebrew language? The Hebrews adopted Aramaic as the language of common speech and it was in use during the 'second temple period.' Menachm= Man(root word for who)+Achm i.e. who is achm. If there is such name as Menachem Begin in the 20th Century, would not Jesus, peace be upon him, have known of it as well?
@Bucklehairy,brother keep beleaving in john, mark, mathew,and luck,on top of all jesus as your lord and your savior,I know some muslim are using the Bible to prouve that mohammad is the seal of aprophethood ,I don't. look arround you, who loves jesus ,muslim or christians,read again (john 14:15-17)now who is keeping the commandement, search, read brother and ask god for guidance, we muslims do that 5 times in our daily prayers. think on your salvation that day for that read mathew.
But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
What does make Jesus a God ??? he is a prophet if you think logical. If you bring Torah and old old bible not the new one from europe. They are all connected to Islam and Prophet Muhammed. You need more education about all the faiths you watch only what better us for your own. Be open minded.
Most Arabic Bible translations use Allah for God, which is merely a linguistic device. It doesn't mean that the Allah of Islam is the Allah of Arabic Christianity. Muslims even fight over who can use the term, e.g. Malaysian Allah Dispute. Arabic-speaking Christians commonly reject to use allah, exactly because of its Islamic connotations, not because of its meaning. For instance, in stead of al7amdulillah 'praise be to Allah', they say nashkur rabb 'we thank the Lord'.
(2) The problem is that Classical Arabic and Islam are inseparable. Islam simply coined the term "Allah" for the deity of the Qur'an. That this happens to be the general Arabic designation of god with the capital G, God, is an issue for people who do not accept the revelations of Muhammad. What would you do, when, say, "God" is the general term for a supreme deity as well as the supreme deity of Hinduism? Would you not feel more comfortable using another word that has no Hindu connotations?
@Bucklehairy - Let's say for argument sake that you are right and that Allah does not mean God (which I don't agree with), who is Jesus praying to? If he is God, is he praying to himself?
In John 5:30, Jesus says "I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me." Who is he praying to?
Good question. But I'm afraid you're confusing some things. 1) I haven't said that Allah does not mean "God". I have simply pointed out that James Caviezel isn't speaking Arabic, but Aramaic, and that the cognate of Aram. elah is not allah 'the God' but ilahu 'deity' (as in the shahada). 2) You presuppose that the Father and the Son are one in person, this is NOT what Christianity teaches. It teaches that God is one in being, but three in person. So the Son prays to the Father.
So if God is one in being, why would he need to pray to himself? One in being and three in person, that doesn't even make any sense. If Jesus is God and he died on the cross, who was ruling over the earth for those supposed three days? Even the Math on that doesn't add up. He died on Friday evening, but was risen on Sunday morning. Hmm ... that's 2 nights and a day. Not 3 days.
Well, to put it very simple: God is one what and three whos. We believe in a tri-personal God. It makes sense if you consider that God is love. Love requires at least two persons, a lover and a beloved and in this case also a Spirit of love. If God were one person and love, who would be there to be loved without other persons? Before the foundation of the world, there WAS true love, for God is a loving relationship between three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Hebrew, Arabic, and Aramaic stem from the same original language. Elah and Allah are the same - pure form/name for God. That is a simple concept.
In response to the end of the video, simply confessing that Jesus is Lord is not enough to be saved. If it was, there would be no final judgement. Yet - on many occasions - the Bible tells us that all will be judged. How can we be saved by Jesus' supposed death if judgement is still coming??
If John, Jean, Jan, Johan and Juan are linguistically related does this mean that they refer to the same person? If Zeus, Dyaus, Tiu, Šiu and Jovis stem from the same original Indo-European word does that mean they refer to the same entity?
The Bible also clearly says that those who acknowledge the risen Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour will not be condemned. "Therefore, there is now NO CONDEMNATION for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death." (Romans 8:1-2). "Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him!" (Romans 5:9).
Bucklehairy should read out aloud what he said about how God to forgive mankinds sins sacrificed his Son, and see how logical it sounds to someone who has no idea what he is talking about, say for eg: of another religion outside the Abrahamic faiths.
"I also know you don't want to step into debate every time you turn on your youtube so we can end it here. God bless bro."
Good point. We can take it easy. I think you're a sportive and decent debater, so you can come back any time. Subscribe to my channel, if you're inclined. May the Lord Jesus bless you. Peace.
Shadi, study things thoroughly before you make such claims. The Greek παράκλητος parakletos (lit. "called to one's side") is a normal Greek word, used by classical writers such as Demosthenes, Philo etc. meaning "helper, assistant" or "intercessor", and in legal context "a legal assistant/intercessor --> an advocate". In the Targum and Talmud we find the term פרקליט conveying the same meaning, which is unmistakably a loanword from the Greek.
The Aramaic used in the tPotC is a reconstructed form of Galilean Aramaic that is non-existent. The Aramaic I used is from a scientific project, the Comprehensive Aramaic Lexicon based on a. o. the Babylonian and Palestinian Targumim, which most likely preceded the Syriac Peshitta.
I don't see your problem. We received what Jesus said in Koine Greek. The words we have never got lost.
Can some Christian please answer me who is John 1: V19-21 refering to as it refers to the prophet mentioned in deuteronomy 18:18 which cant be Jesus)because he is already mentioned as Messiah in John 1:19-21.
Yes, it probably was Aramaic, although it is likely that he was multilingual, i.e. able to speak Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic. So, theoretically,putting it simpler than it is: he spoke Aramaic with his family and friends, Hebrew at the synagogue and Greek to the government.
That depends on the definition of all-loving. When we say that God has demonstrated his love to all sinners unconditionally, then we mean that he has unselfishly chosen the highest good for all people by the fact that Christ, the sinless Son of God, died for the sins of the world, so that we may become righteous in him. So to be all-loving means to unselfishly choose the highest good for every individual. God can hate the wicked, but still have the best interests for them at heart.
Shadi, God bless you, I think that is a far more reasonable view, indeed, but I'm afraid that's not what Allah reveals in the noble Qur'an, cf. Sura 76:29-31
"Indeed, this is a reminder, so he who wills may take to his Lord a way. AND YOU DO NOT WILL EXCEPT THAT ALLAH WILLS. Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing and Wise.He admits whom He wills into His mercy; but the wrongdoers - He has prepared for them a painful punishment."
Is it impossible for a loving God to hate the wicked for their wickedness? I think he'd cease to be God, if he stopped hating inequity. Moreover, I believe God hates the wicked because their wickedness goes AGAINST his LOVING nature. But he wants them to repent and return to Him. He has no delight in their death (Ez 18:23). But Christ died for those bloodthirsty and deceitful men. Him who knew no sin was made sin on our behalf, so that we may became righteousness for God.
"So basically you're still refuted because you just defined essence as god."
.... I don't think so. The definition I gave is pretty much the same as the one used in philosophy. Check my definition again and you'll see why you're wrong. Otherwise, what's essence according to you?
Shadi, are you saying that the laws of mathematics are an illusion without any correspondence to reality whatsoever? And you're the one who keeps insisting on talking about God in fancy mathematical terms! I was indulgent and now you're almost attempting to call me a blasphemer.
Christians believe what God's Word teaches, that God is a unity of three persons. What's so difficult about that? I really don't see why this is such a problem for you, unless you're biased and not interested after all.
" It's funny how you say we are doing mathematics"
No, that's not what I said, by contrast, my actual words were: "We're doing philosophy of religion here, NOT mathematics." Read the comment above again.
Apart from the lecturing, you've been decent and respectful, so no hard feelings. I will get back to these verses some other time, but they are perfectly compatible with the doctrine of the Trinity.
"I invite you to Islam."
Thanks, you've done a great work of Da'wa, I appreciate your comments, but I have already found the only truly saving Islam and the only truly living God in the person of Yasu` al-Masih, Jesus Christ.
"The reason why many Christians rejected trinity,and thought the spirit of truth to be a separate person"
But, Shadi, do you still not understand the Trinity? The Trinity TEACHES that the Spirit of truth is a distinct person within the Godhead. Maybe those "Christians" rejected the Trinity, because, like you, they didn't (want to) understand it.
The Church didn't create a new tradition, but confirmed the earliest tradition by professing the Trinity. The divinity of Jesus, f. e.x., is one of the oldest traditions of Christianity, which goes back before Paul: "Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men." (Phil 2:5-7).
Allah, revealed in the Qur'an, is not love, I wish he were, but his love is restricted to those who love him back. The Bible, the Word of God teaches that God is love, agape, unconditional love. He is unconditionally devoted to the eternal shalom of the people he created And he has demonstrated this, in that, while we were sinners and enemies of God, Christ died for us (Rom 5:8).
God is love. And this is where the self-existing Trinity comes in perfectly, that from eternity on there has always been the loving relationship between the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. A strictly personal monotheistic God like Allah cannot be love. For whom would love and whom would be beloved, if there isn't more than just one person?
Dear Shadi, I'm interested in continuing our discussion, but don't lecture me please. I know more of Islam than I would like. Allah does how he pleases, there is nothing you or the revelation of Islam can do about it:
"And We have certainly created for Hell many of the jinn and mankind" (Sura 7:179)
"Allah sends astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills" (Sura 14:4)
Fair enough, I agree we are essentially souls and have a body to be able to function in a material world, but this doesn't mean that as long as we are physically alive our bodies aren't part of us as a person. Your body is yours and not someone else's, for example: you control it.
Now you're bringing up the two natures of Christ, which is actually a similar paradox. No-one would ascribe percentages to these natures. It's not a mathematical equation. We're doing philosophy of religion here, not mathematics. Anyway, just as God is one in essence (A) and three in person (B), Christ is one in person (A) and two in nature (B). Christ is truly God and truly man and thus the perfect mediator between God and man. There is no contradiction here, it is only a paradox.
Of course all Muslims believe in one Lord and one God, so do all Christians and all Jews. The Qur'an reveals a god who is very impersonal, so I can understand why some (not all) Muslims believe Allah is not a person in the sense human-beings are persons. He doesn't bother about people and their (spiritual) well-being, for instance. He doesn't care whether people go to hell or to heaven. He simply doesn't bind himself to anything but his own will and pleasure.
So taking my first analogy again, if asked you: are you material? You would say: "Yes, with respect to my body I am material, but with respect to my spirit, I am immaterial." You are immaterial and material at the same time, but with respect to different things. So similarly, God is one with respect to his divine essence/substance, but three with respect to his personality.
"So you would of literally told you have 3 different persons,all god. That my friend in English means 3 gods.""
Then you still don't get it. The trinity is not a form of polytheism, it is a form of monotheism. By contrast to Islam, Christianity doesn't profess strictly unipersonal or impersonal monotheism (not all Muslims believe Allah is a person), but tri-personal monotheism. God is a plurality of persons. Plurality of PERSONS, not of gods.
No, your analogy fails, because human beings don't have the same essence in the same sense as the Holy Trinity. We are not at all coexisting, coequal or coeternal.
Unless you're just trying to mock the trinity, I can help you to get to grasp with it. Maybe something like water comes closer as an analogy. Water is H2O, but suppose it were three different atoms: the three distinct atoms together are one molecule of water. Or, perhaps disrespectful, view it as someone with MPD.
No, my point was exactly that if I had said that A=B, it would be a logical contradiction. But I said: with respect to A, God is one and with respect to B, God is three. Do you see the difference?
Perhaps this analogy helps: suppose, with respect to your body, you are material, but with respect to your spirit, you are spiritual, i.e. immaterial. It doesn't mean that your spirit is material or that your body is immaterial, it simply means that you are immaterial by A and material by B. This is not a contradiction, but a paradox: something that SEEMS contradictory, but isn't. Thus a human being would be a duality of two "things" that SEEM contradictory, but go together just fine.
The logical contradiction has yet to be shown. For if I say A) God is one in essence and B) God is three in person, there is no logical contradiction there. It would only be a contradiction if I'd say that God is one and three in essence or that God is one and three in person, but that's not the doctrine of the Trinity, which confirms both the belief in one Lord and one God and the belief that He revealed himself in three different persons, the Father, the Son and the Comforter.
I did answer your question, but you misunderstood.
"but isn't the holy spirit 100 percent god,isn't he jesus and the father?"
No, the doctrine of the Trinity doesn't say that Jesus, the Father and the Holy Spirit are one and the same PERSON, but one and the same BEING. The Trinity teaches that God is one in being (wahid, Islamic tawhid), but three in person. The Holy Spirit is personally distinct from the Father and the Son, so, yes, he can perfectly well speak on their authority.
Which means that Elah is Aramaic, not Arabic nor Hebrew and simply Semitic in origin. English god, German Gott and Dutch god are cognates, Latin deus, Spanish dios, French dieu are cognates, does that mean these individual words necessarily refer to the same entity? If I say the Greek believed Zeus was god, am I saying that they believed Zeus was Allah?
@Shadi1007 and the holy spirit was in elizabeth in john while he was in his mothers womb those pigs who commited suicide Jesus used the holy ghost which is Pnemotos perechelete or peri cyltos is advocate comforter
I don't see the problem. I'd say that John 16:12-15 strongly confirms the doctrine of the Trinity. The Holy Spirit, the Comforter, will speak the truth on the authority of the Father and the Son, i.e. he will proclaim the same absolute and liberating truth and no other. Since he doesn't speak on his own authority, people will recognize that he will speak in accordance with the truth of the Father and the Son and will glorify the Christ, so that people will put their faith in him.
@Bucklehairy Transliteration: machmad Phonetic Spelling: (makh-mawd') Short Definition: beloved Word Origin from chamad Definition desire, desirable thing NASB Word Usage desirable (2), desire (3), pleasant (1), precious ones (1), precious things (2), precious treasures (1), treasures (1), valuable (1). beloved, desire, goodly, lovely, pleasant thing From chamad; delightful; hence, a delight, i.e. Object of affection or desire -- beloved, desire, goodly, lovely, pleasant (thing).
But מחמד is not מנחם, they're distinct words with a different meaning than the equivalents in Arabic. The Aramaic rendering of the Comforter chosen by the bishop was manahma, this has no linguistic relationship to Muhammad whatsoever. You may believe that Jesus' prophesy of the Comforter was fulfilled in Muhammad, I don't mind, it's what the Qur'an ordains you to believe, but it is not the PotC's Aramaic "manahma" that proves anything in this respect.
I've never stated that the Comforter is the apostle Paul. According to Christians, the Comforter is the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, as Jesus himself proclaims.
As a Muslim, you cannot read the Holy Bible unbiased and let the Word of God speak for itself, because you're decreed by Allah in the Noble Qur'an to look for predictions of Muhammad. But deceiving people using Mel Gibson's film seems really like a desperate attempt to me.
It is you Idolators who call themselves Christians. You associate a human being with Allah the most high, and have mixed the pure Injil (Bible) from Allah with pagan idieas from Egypt and ancient Rome. There is only One God, and there is none like unto him. If you want to be saved then do not utter the words Jesus christ is the lord and saviour as that is exactly what the devil wants, he wants you to be a pagan!
Indeed, Aram. manahma means "the comforter", and not Muhammad, Mahmud or Ahmad "(most) praiseworthy". Whether it REFERS to the person, the Islamic prophet Muhammad is a completely different matter, but the Aramaic of the PotC doesn't confirm or deny this, it simply renders what the Greek NT says. Sorry, but you lost me completely regarding 1 Tim 5:23.
@Bucklehairy מַחֲמַדִּים; זֶה דוֹדִי וְזֶה רֵעִי, בְּנוֹת יְרוּשָׁלִָם if you know aramiac so you must know a little hebrew and Oh yea you forgot ADVOCATE as a definition for manakhmah
You have to say its dificult to translate aramaic to greek but easy to translate to hebrew and arabic!!!!!!!!!!
But the Aramaic of this scene is a translation of an English script that is based upon the Greek New Testament. The Hebrew and Arabic versions of the New Testament are translated from the Greek, not the other way around.
Look, you will not be able to show any linguistic connection between the Greek or Aramaic helper, comforter or advocate and the Arabic praiseworthy one = Ahmad, Mahmud, Muhammad.
@AskariWaryaa also the words for God in aramaic are Cognate to the ones in arabic! Strongest among men in enmity to the believers wilt thou find the Jews and Pagans; and nearest among them in love to the believers wilt thou find those who say, "We are Christians": because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant.Quran - 5:82
Stupid pagan Christians who are followers of Satan and misguided by Satan. Jews and Muslims believe in one God. Christians are idol worshipers who follow Paul not Jesus. Jesus would spit on you Satan worshipers who claim to worship Jesus.
Jewish scholars state that Christians are idol worshipers and pagans. Christians are blinded by Satan who was the leader of Paul and misguided all these fools.
please note that ALLAH means God, elah and KAMI in Japanese, Jesus was calling ALLAH, to Elah and to KAMI too, so I do not understand your point, there is only one god anyway, he is calling that one god which is ALLAH as well, at the end the truth will prevail, not this video.
Excuse me, but what has Japanese got to do with this? Jesus is speaking Aramaic, not Arabic nor Japanese. Even if Jesus called upon God in all the languages of the world, he called upon the God of the Bible, not upon the god of the Qur'an, for Mu7ammad didn't exist yet. And, indeed, the truth is that there is only One True Living God, blessed forever, who exists in the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. May you seek and find Him. Amen.
@Bucklehairy Think about this... to say that Muhammad did not exist yet... means that he did not exist even in God's mind.... and God is timeless... so yes Muhammad and everything else exists even though we cannot percieve it... because it is in Reality only God's mind which is being expressed from behind a veil. We in this life are shadows or reflections of God and we make the mistake of believing we are real... we are not... only God is real
Hi, thanks for the comment. How come you believe this mysticism? Nobody exists prior to their existence (that's logically impossible). If God is timeless, this doesn't mean that our existence is timeless. For unlike God, we began to exist, God created us. Our existence has a beginning in time.
" we are not... only God is real"
I am real, so am I God? God is real and God created us in his image. We are not but a shadow of God's mind, we truly ARE.
Also, if "allah" simply signified "god", it wouldn't follow at all that the god of the Qur'an is the God of the Bible. If this would be the case, then any term referring to the entity "god" is equal with the god of Qur'an, such as Zeus, Jupiter, Dyaus and all the pagan deities and demons in this world.
Unmistakably, the one true living God. Don't impose Arabic morphology on Aramaic grammar. Also note that these are not the words of the Christ as we received them, this is merely Mel Gibson's film script translated into a reconstructed form of Aramaic by a Jesuit priest. The authoritative and historically reliable biographies of Jesus' life as narrated by or based on eye-witnesses can be found in the Gospels of the New Testament.
Allah is The Eloah. They make the same mistake Mainstream Christians make. They believe God is a name. If you ask them they will tell you this. Elohim is not a name it means a ruler or something great nothing more.
(Gen 23:6 KJV) Hear us, my lord: thou art a mighty (Elohim) prince among us: in the choice of our sepulchres bury thy dead; none of us shall withhold from thee his sepulchre, but that thou mayest bury thy dead.

Either you're deceived or you're deceiving people. They may sound SIMILAR, but not IDENTICAL, for, as you know, the word Allah is pronounced with a very dark / L /, pharyngealized or velarized, [ʔalˤːɑːh]. The Aramaic word 'elah 'deity, god' isn't, it was probably pronounced [ʔɛlaːh], which corresponds with Arabic 'ilāh 'deity, god'.
Indeed, if Jesus spoke Aramaic, he wouldn't have uttered any Arabic, would he?
Thanks, Richard. Your kind words encourage me in my faith. Neither did I. A friend of mine notified me and asked me to make video about it. This deceptive blunder seems to be spread all over YT. God bless you, bro.
I'm afraid you're mistaken. He speaks Aramaic, not Arabic. It is אל תדחלון 'don't be afraid' cf. Gen 43:23 of Targum Onqelos, also check the Comprehensive Aramaic Lexicon on the web. Mna7ma means 'Comforter' from the root נחמ, cf. Hebr. and Aram. for Eccles. 4:1 "they had no comforter". The root n7m exists in Arabic, check Hans Wehr's dictionary edited by Milton Cowan of 1976 p. 948, "to clear one's throat; to wheeze, pant, gasp". Your comment serves my point: you were deceived.
Yet another failed attempt to try and insert Mohammad and Allah into the Bible!

Jesus called God Allah! thats more than enough to prove that Allah is not exclusive to Islam. Jesus call Him Allah too
syazwankhan 4 months ago
@syazwankhan no he did not call him allah he called him 'ELAH' which is the aramaic word meaning God. It is similar to the arabic word 'ILAHU' which also means God. They both share no connection to the word allah which is unique only to arabic. the reason it is unique is probably because the name 'allah' is ripped from the word 'AL'ILAH' which is the name of one of the pagan gods mohammed worshipped in his youth.
thompsond55 1 month ago
@thompsond55 Haha. What a joke. Prophet Muhamamd never worship pagan gods fyi. Hes the final messenger of God and God protected him from worshipping false gods. FYI, Arab Christians and Jews have been calling upon God as Allah even before prophet Muhammad was born. So its obvious that you're in great error.
syazwankhan 1 month ago
@syazwankhan 'Prophet' Muhammed did worship pagan gods actually. the crescent moon that symbolizes islam comes from the symbol that used to be associated with Al'Ilah, god of the moon. its historical fact look it up. in fact did muhammed not encourage the pagans at some point to worship the pagan goddesses to get them on his side? he then took it back and said satan made him say it ha Also, nobody ever called God allah either. it is never mentioned in the bible as allah nor in the torah as allah
thompsond55 1 month ago
@thompsond55 history shows arab christians and jews have been calling upon God as Allah. So you are misinformed. Muhammad worship Allah alone. And this video is a proof that Jesus call upon God as Allah in aramiac. You are denying the truth when it is right in front of your eyes
syazwankhan 1 month ago
@syazwankhan history does not show that. that is what your muslim scholars tell you even though it is not backed by any archaelogical or histrical find or artefact. i bet you even think that the Qu'ran is authentic? my friend the Qu'ran has had verses changed and chapters missing from hundreds and hundreds of years. look it up.
And no in the video above jesus says 'ELAH' which has nothing to do with the word 'ALLAH'.. you are like a broken record my friend..

@thompsond55 the original copies of the quran still exist and its still the same as the quran we have now. unlike the bible which the original copies have yet to be found, the only ones left are the corrupted translated copies in greek and some hebrew copies. the word Elah has got MAJOR thing to do with the word Allah. the root word is the same. its made up of Aleph Lamed Heth. it refers to the same GOD. the God of Abram.
syazwankhan 1 month ago

Idiot.
ServantoftheElohim 4 months ago
@yngnikko90 1. Muhammad has never mean't comforter, please show me where anyone called Muhammad the comforter, and if they did, it shouldn't matter as Muhammad is dead, and still a liar in Hell. 2. Nowhere does it say the comforter will be human, show me where. 3. John 14:26 clearly says its the Holy Spirit. 4. The Spirit does speak, but not on His behalf.
And lastly, I will send you a PM on at least 10 reasons why Muhammad can not be the comforter.

Surah Muhammad (47:19)
lezliederek 4 months ago
@yngnikko90 Muhammad means "the praised one". I suggest you stop lying for your faith.
"the Holy Spirit doesnt talkbuddy" Thats where you're wrong. The Holy Ghost DOES speak. And when He speaks, you better listen.
Jesus also says the Comforter/Advocate/Helper is the Holy Ghost: John 14:26 "But the Comforter/Advocate, THE HOLY SPIRIT, whom the Father will SEND IN MY NAME, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you."
ServantoftheElohim 4 months ago
@yngnikko90 pt.2
ServantoftheElohim 4 months ago
@yngnikko90 I don't care if its in the video. But fact is: When He would have preached Torah, He WOULD have spoke Hebrew. And He spoke to Samaritans. Samaritans kept the Hebrew language. And you can't confirm what language Jesus prayed in, as the Gospels never says the language he prayed in.
P.S. "Jews & Muslims think Christianity is corrupt & false" Ok, guess what? Jews think Islam is corrupt and false. We Christians think Islam is corrupt and false. We also think Judaism is incomplete.
ServantoftheElohim 4 months ago
@yngnikko90 Also:
ServantoftheElohim 4 months ago

ServantoftheElohim 4 months ago
@yngnikko90 1. Islam IS a religion, Muslims praise that its the "True religion" or "religion of peace". 2. The Jews think your religion is false to. 3. Sorry, what? I don't worship any Jews, sorry. NO Christians worships the Jews, they are just as damned and lost as you are.

They kneel on one knee, in front of the altar, and do the sign of the cross (It represents the Trinity). We don't worship a man. God became a man, not man became a God. "why does God have to come down to earth to save humanity, he can do it from the heavens hes God." Have you studied the atonement?
ServantoftheElohim 4 months ago
@yngnikko90 Uh, no we don't worship a cross. We don't bow down to it and call it God or ask it to guide us, we ask the Holy Spirit to do that.
And what evidence do you have that Christianity is corrupted?
"God said thou shall not compare me to any human nor even think about how God looks like......" Ok??????? Btw, that doesn't appear in the Bible, sorry.
Your brain is broken.
ServantoftheElohim 4 months ago
@yngnikko90 Yes, its three persons, we know that? But we don't deny there being ONE God. Just read The Athanasian Creed.
"No its not in the BIBLE even your Christian scholars admit it" 1. I proved its there. 2. BS, the only ones who deny there being the Trinity, are Arians (Heretics).
"the trinity concept came from the Romans" Fail, the Trinity is seen throughout early church writings.
Jesus' spirit didn't die, the flesh did.
And, I don't worship a cross. I worship the Holy Trinity.
ServantoftheElohim 4 months ago
@yngnikko90 Did you not listen?
I said God is one.
Like I said, you're brain, is broken.
"nowhere in the Bible will you find the word Trinity" Sure, but we find the concept ( (Genesis 1:1, 26; 3:22; 11:7; Isaiah 6:8, 48:16, 61:1; Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14).
ServantoftheElohim 4 months ago
@yngnikko90 You obviosuly don't know much about Trinitarian beliefs. We believe in ONE GOD.
The Athanasian Creed says: "Now this is the catholic faith: We worship one God in trinity and the Trinity in unity, neither confusing the persons nor dividing the divine being. For the Father is one person, the Son is another, and the Spirit is still another. But the deity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is one, equal in glory, coeternal in majesty."
You failed.

MURGAthe 11 months ago
Also, have you looked at the Holy Bible written in Arabic? What do the Arab Christians use to identify God?
hawaiiansistah 11 months ago
@hawaiiansistah
Bucklehairy 11 months ago
(2) The problem is that Classical Arabic and Islam are inseparable. Islam simply coined the term "Allah" for the deity of the Qur'an. That this happens to be the general Arabic designation of god with the capital G, God, is an issue for people who do not accept the revelations of Muhammad. What would you do, when, say, "God" is the general term for a supreme deity as well as the supreme deity of Hinduism? Would you not feel more comfortable using another word that has no Hindu connotations?
Bucklehairy 11 months ago
@Bucklehairy - Let's say for argument sake that you are right and that Allah does not mean God (which I don't agree with), who is Jesus praying to? If he is God, is he praying to himself?
In John 5:30, Jesus says "I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me." Who is he praying to?
hawaiiansistah 11 months ago
@hawaiiansistah
Bucklehairy 11 months ago
@Bucklehairy
Not 3 days.
hawaiiansistah 11 months ago
@hawaiiansistah
Bucklehairy 11 months ago
"If Jesus is God and he died on the cross, who was ruling over the earth for those supposed three days"
Good question again. Yet what is the difficulty exactly? Do you believe death is the end of existence? When we die, do we cease to be?
Bucklehairy 11 months ago
"He died on Friday evening, but was risen on Sunday morning. "
Where does it say in the Bible that Christ died on Friday?
Bucklehairy 11 months ago
Hebrew, Arabic, and Aramaic stem from the same original language. Elah and Allah are the same - pure form/name for God. That is a simple concept.
In response to the end of the video, simply confessing that Jesus is Lord is not enough to be saved. If it was, there would be no final judgement. Yet - on many occasions - the Bible tells us that all will be judged. How can we be saved by Jesus' supposed death if judgement is still coming??
hawaiiansistah 11 months ago
@hawaiiansistah
If John, Jean, Jan, Johan and Juan are linguistically related does this mean that they refer to the same person? If Zeus, Dyaus, Tiu, Šiu and Jovis stem from the same original Indo-European word does that mean they refer to the same entity?
Bucklehairy 11 months ago
The Bible also clearly says that those who acknowledge the risen Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour will not be condemned. "Therefore, there is now NO CONDEMNATION for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death." Shadi, study things thoroughly before you make such claims.

Great... we're throwing dictionary lemma's to each other...
American Heritage:
trin·i·ty (trn-t)
1. A group consisting of three closely related members. Also called TRIUNITY.
2. Trinity Theology In most Christian faiths, the union of three divine persons, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, in one God. Also called Trine.
3. Trinity Trinity Sunday.
tri·une (tryn)
adj.
Being three in one. Used especially of the Christian Trinity.

So God is triune, not triplex. His one essence has three personalities.

Bucklehairy 1 year ago
@Shadi1007
Bucklehairy 1 year ago
@Shadi1007
"when the word "trinity" itself means 3."
No, trinity is a merger of tri-unity, three-oneness.
"When we say god is one,we are making a mathematical statement."
Is he one is singularity or one in plurality?
"essence"
Do I need to define everything I say? Let's say essence is the inherent and changeless nature of something that exists.
Bucklehairy 1 year ago
"but you are also putting 3 persons within this essence thus creating 3 gods."
If mathematics is what you need, let me explain that the equation is not 1+1+1=3 gods, but 1 x 1 x 1 = 1 God.
I repeat. The Trinity or Tri-Unity, if you will, is a form of monotheism, not a form of polytheism.
Bucklehairy 1 year ago
Allah, revealed in the Qur'an, is not love, I wish he were, but his love is restricted to those who love him back. The Bible, the Word of God teaches that God is love, agape, unconditional love. He is unconditionally devoted to the eternal shalom of the people he created And he has demonstrated this, in that, while we were sinners and enemies of God, Christ died for us (Rom 5:8).
Bucklehairy 1 year ago
God is love. And this is where the self-existing Trinity comes in perfectly, that from eternity on there has always been the loving relationship between the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. A strictly personal monotheistic God like Allah cannot be love. For whom would love and whom would be beloved, if there isn't more than just one person?
Bucklehairy 1 year ago
Dear Shadi, I'm interested in continuing our discussion, but don't lecture me please. I know more of Islam than I would like. Allah does how he pleases, there is nothing you or the revelation of Islam can do about it:
"And We have certainly created for Hell many of the jinn and mankind" (Sura 7:179)
"Allah sends astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills" (Sura 14:4)
Bucklehairy 1 year ago
@Shadi1007
Fair enough, I agree we are essentially souls and have a body to be able to function in a material world, but this doesn't mean that as long as we are physically alive our bodies aren't part of us as a person. Your body is yours and not someone else's, for example: you control it.
Bucklehairy 1 year ago
Now you're bringing up the two natures of Christ, which is actually a similar paradox. No-one would ascribe percentages to these natures. It's not a mathematical equation. We're doing philosophy of religion here, not mathematics. Anyway, just as God is one in essence (A) and three in person (B), Christ is one in person (A) and two in nature (B). Christ is truly God and truly man and thus the perfect mediator between God and man. There is no contradiction here, it is only a paradox.
Bucklehairy 1 year ago
@Shadi1007
Bucklehairy 1 year ago
@Shadi1007
I didn't mention it for obvious reasons.
Bucklehairy 1 year ago
So taking my first analogy again, if asked you: are you material? You would say: "Yes, with respect to my body I am material, but with respect to my spirit, I am immaterial." You are immaterial and material at the same time, but with respect to different things. So similarly, God is one with respect to his divine essence/substance, but three with respect to his personality.
Bucklehairy 1 year ago
"So you would of literally told you have 3 different persons,all god. That my friend in English means 3 gods.""
Then you still don't get it. The trinity is not a form of polytheism, it is a form of monotheism. By contrast to Islam, Christianity doesn't profess strictly unipersonal or impersonal monotheism (not all Muslims believe Allah is a person), but tri-personal monotheism. God is a plurality of persons. Plurality of PERSONS, not of gods.
Bucklehairy 1 year ago
@Shadi1007
Bucklehairy 1 year ago
@Shadi1007
No, my point was exactly that if I had said that A=B, it would be a logical contradiction. But I said: with respect to A, God is one and with respect to B, God is three. Do you see the difference?
Bucklehairy 1 year ago
Perhaps this analogy helps: suppose, with respect to your body, you are material, but with respect to your spirit, you are spiritual, i.e. immaterial. It doesn't mean that your spirit is material or that your body is immaterial, it simply means that you are immaterial by A and material by B. This is not a contradiction, but a paradox: something that SEEMS contradictory, but isn't. Thus a human being would be a duality of two "things" that SEEM contradictory, but go together just fine.
Bucklehairy 1 year ago
@Shadi1007
"If someone is 100 percent god,then logically he would be able to speak on his own authority"
Well that depends on how you interpret "on his own authority" in John 16.
Bucklehairy 1 year ago
@Shadi1007
Bucklehairy 1 year ago
@Shadi1007

@DF
Bucklehairy 1 year ago
Yes the Comforter is Muhammad pbuh not Paul. Do not be decieved by Satan!
AskariWaryaa 1 year ago
@AskariWaryaa
Bucklehairy 1 year ago
@Bucklehairy We are not the decieved ones.

(No longer drink only water, but use a little wine for the sake of your stomach and your frequent ailments.)
DrzeshanFarooqi 1 year ago
@DrzeshanFarooqi

But the Aramaic of this scene is a translation of an English script that is based upon the Greek New Testament. The Hebrew and Arabic versions of the New Testament are translated from the Greek, not the other way around.

please note that ALLAH means God, elah and KAMI in Japanese, Jesus was calling ALLAH, to Elah and to KAMI too, so I do not understand your point, there is only one god anyway, he is calling that one god which is ALLAH as well, at the end the truth will prevail, not this video.

We in this life are shadows or reflections of God and we make the mistake of believing we are real... we are not... only God is real
moqutpar 1 year ago

The authoritative and historically reliable biographies of Jesus' life as narrated by or based on eye-witnesses can be found in the Gospels of the New Testament.
