@bartelgrant well, maybe, but luke says not. i think the gospels were "tidied" a little in order to sell the story to the roman authorities, probably (with brilliant awareness) by paul. it is inconceivable that jesus would not have had something to say against the occupying pagan force.

still, the movie is pretty much what i think went on. i cant help thinking that the scene of the marys consoling each other can be anything other than mother and wife.

Actually guys lisa gerrard did write and compose a score to the film ..but did not finnish it on time due to private personal reasons ..but some of the songs ended up being on her album immortal memory ... maranatha and abwoon, and i think a few more but those too was rlsd on the album .. ps . lisa gerrard did 2 version of abwoon ..look for them on here
