I just got back from God and Country, and i was just wondering why they didn't have the flyover.....they always had a flyover and someone would jump out of the plane and spread the American Flag out so everyone could see....it's really amazing to see!! stupid Obama.....

@Eaglesfaninca yes, it is a Christian Festival, but 1) not everyone who goes are Christian and 2) we're also honoring our Veterans and our country....the other two have never been to one, so of course they're gonna agree....it IS stupid how he took it away!!

The point I made is that O'Reilly is a liar. And he either invited dissenting guests on who didn't know any better or he edited out them saying it is a Christian festival. All he or or his research team would have to do is go to their official website and see that the festival promoters even call it a Christian event.

I'm 17, and I've been going to it ever since I can remember, and they do not force religion on veterans, or anyone, for that matter!! like I said, not everyone who goes is even a Christian....and when you go to their website, it says "A free concert, fireworks show, and civic event honoring our military and celebrating our heritage of religious freedom"

@Eaglesfaninca nowhere does it say that it's a Christian event....yes, it IS a Christian event, but they don't force the religion on people....we HONOR our Country, our military, and we celebrate God....we pray, bands come out and perform, we say the Pledge of Alliegence, we honor our military.....Catholics, Jews, ANYONE can come to this event, because it's free, and we don't force anything on anyone....if you haven't been to one, then you should go before you say anything else :)

Which country is better off than us, and they corporate religion into their government? Religion creates war, with out religion, war would be at a minimum. And your point, just because something is not established does not mean a goddamn thing. If faith-based principles were actually grounded in the whole system would be corrupted, even the people, we might say that we are grounded in God's word but everyone almost, in this country, has a life-style that contradicts our supposed moral foundation of how we should live. So it's wrong to have something not happen and then have something happen? People should not be persecuted for their beliefs.

Dude, there's no such wording in the constitution. The founding fathers left a repressive country to found a new country base on God and true freedom. If we go by your logic...Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, wouldn't declared nothing in the name of God. Washington gave his proclaimation for Thanksgiving in the name of heavenly father, Lincoln declared a National day Of Prayer, and Thanksgiving a NATIONAL HOLIDAY. As far as I'm concerned, take Religion completly out of the Public Sector and our Country will be better off because of it. For so long in this country, we have allowed these reilgious nutjobs to dictate to the rest of us who maybe don't share such strong religious views or have no religious views at all what we can do, what we can say, what we can watch and what have you. I'm glad we finally have a President who realizes that Religion will not save our country, it will only further divide it.
