I have eight t with a 454 and it runs fine on the box but when I put it on the ground and apply throttle it takes off but when I let off the throttle it dies
I have a 8ight 2.0 rtr 350 engine but i only use 33% fuel is that okay to use? and should i, at the end of the day use after run when putting away my engine?
@KILLdaBOOSTERz 33% is a little high, I don't know that they recommend exceeding 30% in the manual. When your done for the day a little after run oil is always a good idea.
i have a losi 454 in a losi 8ight t at the high end revs it starts to cut out ,theres no smoke and u have to let off or it will stall sometimes and i have no clue why plz help
@codybobo101 Couple things here. First set your needles back to the factory defaults and tune from there. Second, check the engine for air leaks. If it's sucking air it will throw off your tune. Third use quality fuel that's fresh.
i just bought the losi 8ight 2.0 using blue thunder 20%. break in is very important to me i did that complete. but im getting alot of top end smoke but it runs at a descent temp till i bring it in an stop then the dx3s high temp alarm goes off is that normal?
i have a axial .28 spec 1, and it takes a good 10-15 mins to reach good performance. at the end of my run im close to 300 degrees.. but takes 15 mins to reach that.
i cant' warm it up, and then adjust needles 1/2 away through my main to keep my motor cooler.
1st 5 laps are real sluggish. mid race alittle better.. by the end of the race im screaming! i have a feeling my LSN is off.. whats your advice?
@horizonrcdotcom 20% trinity monster. since then, ive switched to byrons 3000 race. 11% oil, 30% nitro.. also inserted a 8mm carb restrictor.. i havne't had the same issues.. so im not sure if that hobby poeple fuel dind't like that carb mixture. now i just have to dail that LSN and im good.
My 3.3 is running strong as can be but the temp is always at about 301deg after high speed runs... Im using 20% fuel. What do ya think i can do to get the temps down?

@tomahawk16 Sounds like your low-speed needle is set incorrectly. Richen the bottom 2-hours to see if that helps.

@roostertails250 What is your temperature alert set to? It might be low. You should see temps between 230-260 realistically.

@HorizonRCdotCom what temp scale are you referring to? F or C? Thanks!

@BuiltB16A 300 is really up there for temps. What sort of fuel are you running?

@droners I would see if you can improve airflow to the head (cut some openings in the body) and richen the top end an hour or two and go from there.
