SRT-4 vs Neon, both cars break during drag run

Yup, for all those hairpin curves at the drag strip :D..Just settle down, I've seen my share of legitimately fast srts, and I actually like the platform. In most cases, a wing is virtually ineffective under 80 mph. I doubt this particular car is taking any curves at that speed. I am not an ignorant person that simply regurgitates other peoples opinions, I've just been around drag racing my whole life and have learned what works and what doesn't. In my OPINION, it's nothing more than an eyesore.

for whoevers hatin on srt times....i have my slip from the one time i brought my car to the track, on street tires, 18" wheels with only 225 all season, i did a 12.9@109 stock turbo stock block no nitrous.

you all are morons. sayin your friends are pulling off 13.8. these cars only do 13.9 completely bone stock with the factory LSD with a PROFESSIONAL driver. stock turbo with slicks and nitrous can get it down into mid 11s. once again professional driver. i have countless friends that are stuck at the magical 300whp mark and dont get lower than a 13.5 and they are decent drivers.

LMAO! thats my brother in laws yellow srt. i was there that night, he best run that night was a 14.01 @ 102 i believe. running on 19in rims was a bad idea. he took it back like a month later with some drag radials and his best run was a 13.2.

Both cars broke on this run. The SRT-4 clearly puts on his brakes before he crosses the finish line. He was having throttle body issues.

um no it cant been to the strip every weekend, friends of mine have srt4's and 2 of the 3 are stock, fastest time theyve ran was 14.3, and thats cuz he had slicks

So if your friends can't do it, no one can? Ever think your friends can't drive. I've seen SRT-4s run 13.8 with slicks. The fastest time recorded was a 13.8 without slicks. I used to drive a SRT-4 so I think I'd know my old car better than you.

Every track is different, The one you are reffering to was probley had a Downhill slope to it... When I barley got my 4g63, i was pulling 14.4's all day, and i use to take SRT4's by about a car...Dont get me wrong I will get an SRT4 one day, i love them, but i doubt those things can pull anything below a 14.0 stock... well at least all the ones ive ran into, and thats quite a bit

actualy a friend of mine has had 3 srt4 bought them stock and he takes them to the strip the fallowing weekend after he buys them with nothing done and has gotten 13.8 then he fixes them up his cars are on myspace his url name is djchocolate hes got vids go watch

Gotta think tho, a stock srt doesnt hardly spin. My buddy took his srt out with street tires and it has a few mods done and he ran a 15 since he was spinning through 3rd
