PC gaming is less expensive than consolegaming in the long run.

1. Buy a game for a console? 40$, buy the same game on today's deals / weekend deals / publisher deals / summer sales / christmas sales on Steam for 8$. Mafia 2 last year is an example of a game that was quarter the price of consoles' on PC.

2. Don't buy Alienware, buy custom built, I bought mine for 800e. PS3 + TV cost me 1000€

3. Console accessories, subs fees

So appearently you have enough money to buy a console, buy a HDTV, buy first party accessories that cost a fortune compared to as good third party accessories, pay for subscription fees for a service such as Xbox Live which equals Steam in features. Steam's free, Xbox Live's not.

Oh, and those ridiculous prices of games on consoles. PC gaming comes cheaper in the long run due to way cheaper games thanks to Steam. Buy custombuilt, you don't have to upgrade every 4 years either.

And usualy you must pay for dlc. Sure pc gaming might be hard sometimes, and there are those cheaters, but if you really can't handle those, then i must say that you are a real noob.
