How do you get your stencils to stick on the wall like a sticker?

yeah or 3M you just want one that isn't super sticky otherwise you won't be able to take the stencil off.

Im just a biginner and i want to know how do you get the fine detail once you spray it? I use the acitate as I read somewhere it is good if you want to reuse the stencil.

the detail is all in the multiple layers. The more layers the more you can put in. I like to cut my stencils in paper just because it's easier to cut really fine detail into it but it make for a one time use stencil.

I'd like to see some of you work dude, maybe give you some more pionters

Thanks man. Ill try using multiple layers more, but my stencils are pretty rubbish. I dont have much time as I chose some of the worst subjects for GCSE including art and DT so lot of coursework for me :(. Ive decided to try and use stencils for my final project in art after seeing your work. So cant really afford to do a stencil that takes too long to cut. I might upload one if its not to bad though so u can give me pointers.

it's a spray on photo mount that i don't let dry, i just stick it on, paint it, and pull it off

you should re-inforce the back of the stencil paper with masking tape before you cut, it will allow for a much stronger base to work with and they will last for yonks longer
