hi, just looked at my spinks book and the hammered silver im positive is a charles 11 penny or two pence. all his silvers look the same i think right up to the shilling just different size. spinks coin number 3308 shows a coin identical to yours but bigger.
lol thats true about coming out shiny! i got fair bit of silver now so more gold would be good for me, i just love history of your lead seals think what were they used on, what person did they represent i love all that sort of stuff

hi, yes. the first few years (1660-1662) was hammered coinage then in 1663 the hand powered machinery was used.
