  • hi, yes. the first few years (1660-1662) was hammered coinage then in 1663 the hand powered machinery was used.

  • hi, just looked at my spinks book and the hammered silver im positive is a charles 11 penny or two pence. all his silvers look the same i think right up to the shilling just different size. spinks coin number 3308 shows a coin identical to yours but bigger.
