  • thats how a sedan moves .....

  • Seems like both r v6s charger is Jus modified and u can't clearly see the rt stripes anybody can put the stripes on, the stripes on the back r off a bumblebee series, times r too slow for srt8s and rts

  • @jcisneros44 you can clearly hear they have V8's, and I will explain, AGAIN, that we are in Morrison, Colorado, the highest elevation track in the US! The high elevation can make these cars lose as much as 60 horsepower due to the air being so thin!!!

  • Yea the challenger has more weight then a chargert an plus id think the challenger was even a rt or srt.

  • @SuperRaptor686 no the charger weight more and that challenger was a se

  • the charger is srt8

    but challenger mybe rt

  • Both are awesome cars..But if a TOYota or other ugly Asian car was in that race, and they won, then I'd be pissed

  • thats an srt or rt charger vs a base challenger =/ not fair

  • I have a 08 charger and blow away challengers all the time!

  • @feistyv07 in your dreams, maybe

  • @MrVaterland lol ruh roh

  • ahh MOPAR all around!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow, this reminds me of that Top Gear episode where the gallant hosts try to scale an active volcano in the middle of the Andes (~16,000 ft). Funny as hell.

    watch?v=qRruKBfN70c

  • @ricepaddy69 LOL, pretty much

  • YEAH RIGHT! how the fuck did that happen. i raced a charger the other day in my challenger and just walked away from him... this guy must have stayed in 2nd gear lol

  • @bombsawayd I raced a guy on roller blades on my mountain bike and left him in the dust.

  • why does elevation mess up with cars speeds? serious question, i actually don't know...

  • @pkidro Like marathon runners, train at high elevation, then come to sea level to a race. The air at high elevation is thin, there is not as much oxygen, so you cannot burn as much fuel, and in turn not make as much power.

this is the highest elevation track that I know of. we run about 1.5 seconds slower then at sea level

  • @Xarmy187 right on man, thx for the info

  • @Xarmy187 dude i just want to say thank you cuz ur comment explained alot and is just so nice ;) but anyways i know the charger was an srt8 but what about the challenger ?

  • @shnto7 you can seel the challenger has the body stripes for the SRT8/RT package. which it has im not sure. But it at the least a RT challenger

  • which one would i perfer?... il go with the prius *shoots laser out of penis* :D

  • what are you like 10000 ft above here?

  • that was an srt8 vs an r/t

  • challenger shows the 1/4 mi time of the 6 cylinder, must have been an SE.

  • lol not fair, it looks like an srt8 charger vs RT challenger

  • Yeah i'm in a race now , the light is greeen , talk to you later ( SEND )

  • нифига стандартный челенжер имеет 425 л,с обем 6,1 л вот так от!!

  • is that dude in the challenger afraid to accelerate? lmao

  • wow thats slow

  • @Tylerssuperbee welcome to high elevation racing!!

  • @Xarmy187 for that reason i would'nt live in high elevations

  • of course the charger was gunna win thats a srt8 charger vs a 6-cylinder challenger. Charger has 425 hp challenger Challenger SE has 250 umm thats a no brainer!!!

  • The white challenger had R/T huge on the side of it. you can see the R/T paint scheme on the side and trunk.

this is morrison colorado, elevation of 5800ft above sea level.

  • well i have a 2008 srt8 and is heavy but the thing dodge messed up on is the challenger need to breath better so i put the KN filter dioblo chip magna flow catback system and kooks headers and the car runs alot better and for being big cars the handling is great.

  • In no way am i knocking the challenger. I would drive one in a hear beat if i could afford it!!!

I think they are the best looking car that has come out in a long time.

But they are very heavy. curb weight is 4100 pound's so by time you hit the track its going to be around 4500 pounds with someone in the car.

not good for racing, but one hell of a car still!!!

  • @Xarmy187 Nobody can see any paint scheme because your camera sucks

  • @MrHalo3Fan10 if you can't make out the giant black stripe over the trunk, your fucking blind.

  • Comment removed

  • @challengersrtman I know right it would be about the same if the challenger had the same HP

  • @challengersrtman Challenger R/T is a 5.7L Hemi, not a 6 cyl SXT

  • Damn the charger looks like shit in white

  • maybe in the video, they look great up close.

  • Im not saying i dont like the car... I like the car alot Its real bad ass...

i ment that i like the original orange color the best

  • of course the orange look's best, but the white is real clean, i like it a lot.

  • thats a challenger in white and charger n red buddy.

  • haha, yea, that's my brother, i overlooked that he said charger :)

  • Thanks Peggy Sue for the Correction

  • no problem nancy :-)

  • Lmao XD

  • lol

  • okay now i see it but yeah the srt8 would have beat it.

  • well the R/T is not much slower then the SRT8.

my point was that the charger had some work done to it, challenger more then likely 100% stock.

the challenger is VERY heavy, and at this elevation of 5800ft above sea level you lose 20-22% horse power due to the thin air.

so the weight is going to effect you more when the vehicle is heavy.
