It is so sad to have lost not only one of the most promising young blues players of all time but an amazing human being who was so kind sweet, charmng and thettrue meaning of a friend, my heart breaks for all of us fans and friends but so much more for his family . God I am so sorry for your loss! I miss you Sean! XOXOXOXO,
It's heartbreaking to watch Sean, I've seen his mental twin. He didn't sing, he played like Sean when he was 13. Got all the medical attention until he burnt out at the fuckin age of 19. He's still alive, 35 YO. and haven't played a tune since he was 19. Completly gone...
No records, just the memories of the few who ever saw him.
It's 15 years ago, and still I cry like a baby when I watch Sean. At least he's documented...
I cannot put into words how much I loved watching this man play. I don't follow famous rock bands, but I went to see him every time I got the chance. He was truly the best. I am so glad that I had the honor to watch him live....many times. Now he is gone....and I can tell you, there is noone, ....no one to take his place...not even close
i don t speak english very much because i am french but you are so talented it s so beautiful you use the gibson as well as i don t know who you are fantastic
Terrible shame about his loss. One of the few guys who did a perfect Earl Hooker impression as on Earl's song here. Only Steve Hill left who does this type of style.(pure fingers to metal i mean). Kirk Fletcher is another smokin' player. But there aren't too many youngsters in Costello's age bracket into Blues these days and we can't afford to lose anymore.
This performance is very much the Sean Costello we saw last year at the Gem Theater. He put on a great show, and it was obvious he loved what he was doing. We would like to extend our deepest sympathy to his family and band members. God be with you Sean,

Incredible guitar work - incredible technique - looks so effortless and he uses only his fingers.
