Most of the wood is placed by 'hand' (probably using MCEdit or something), and the timber mod only works for naturally grown trees, or so I've heard

Try allocating more or less memory to the java applet. If you go to the Support forum on the minecraft forums, there's a guide stickied at the top somewhere (something to do with increasing FPS) that tells you how to do so

If you think the pink wool on Canopy Carnage is hard to get, try getting the wool on Sea of Flames II in the Hall of Flame, Vechs decided that 8 Ghasts in an open area would be a good idea.

this episode gave me a great idea about a mob fighting arena. there will be 4 doors for mobs to escape and spawners in each skeleton, zombie, spider, and creeper in a obsidian or bedrock arena and there is a 10 minute timer set in a certain difficulty for example if you can last 10 minutes against a horde of skeletons you get half a stack of iron blocks if zombies a full stack of iron ingots and creepers diamonds, and if a giant horde of every monster then 20 diamond blocks, :D

@DerpZombie I made a big effort to finish Canopy Carnage before 1.8 came out because I knew it was going to wreck the map. (I also was trying to avoid spoilers xD) I finished recording all episodes last Sunday. I did however make a backup of Minecraft 1.7.3 which I may use in the future to downgrade so that I can play some more of Vechs' maps.

the only reason that enderman can pick up blocks is do mobs systems will be destroyed, the only reason that passive mobs will now only spawn on loadinga chuck is so mob systems will be obsoleat, also, passive mobs will spawn on all blocks so lang as there is nothing above them, oh mobs also won't despawn, I vote that we should pention notch to allow mob systems again, copy and paste this to all videos, pictures, forum posts and chatrooms on mobs, spawn rooms, spawn traps, and mob sorting.

@EthosLab Just a quick tip for the future since you don't seem to know:

Armor in minecraft doesn't work like it does in most games. Generally it protects you more the more armor points you have (and not according to material - so leather is as good as diamond when undamaged). So if you have 1 AP it only slightly protects you. Although your amount of AP is also calculated oddly. The short tip is that low durability diamond armor mixed with other armor makes your AP worse. Wiki: "Item durability"

IMO food goes a Long way In 1.8 so you only need a few pieces of food for an outing

Props to Etho for a great idea of Growing the mushrooms in the temple. Although Mushroom soup still does't stack I take about 7 bowls to go exploring. then toss the empty bowls. since wood is super abundant.. I want to burn this forest down so bad. But 2 things i have failed to find so far is Flint and or Lava
