I tried making it and I followed the directions. I plugged it in to the computer and uploaded the code and nothing happens the motors dont move... ): help?
I really like your bots and im considering doing something simmilar, if i cant get ahold of these rumblebots i guess any RC toy could work..
But using a full arduino seems kinda wastefull.
just buy a bootloaded atmega328, a 5v power regulator and just hook this up on a protoboard or a protocurcuit(use an ic socket so you dont have to solder the atmega in place)
you just load the program and put the chip in the curcuit
this wont cost half an arduino but its a bit more work i guess
I'm triggering the H-Bridge that's on the circuit board of the bot. All it needs is a low voltage signal to turn on power to the motor through a much latger transistor.

Inside the head is a motor and some gears. One of the gears is most likely broken.
