@HUNGtotheHO Please check out the FinePix W3 model instead. It replaces the W1 and has significant upgrades over the W1. Better 3D LCD Screen, Mini HDMI connection for 3D TV playback, controls, almost everything is much better than the W1.
@eduardo00178 except taking an action shot may be more difficult. Also 3D video is another challenge. The new model is called the Real 3D W3. It shoots in 3D 720p HD stereo sound. Check out the other fuji guys video on this.
@BadLactose Great question, Fuji does not currently offer any software to manipulate the MPO files that create the 3D images. These files cannot be manipulated with other popular editing software (like Photoshop). We hope that future solutions will be available with the ability to manipulate MPO (3D) files.
I'm not sure where you live but we can speak for demo models in Canada. You would be able to find them at Vistek, Lens & Shutter, Lozeau and some Henry's locations. Larger mass retailers like Best Buy do not carry the 3D camera so looking in smaller specialty digital camera stores would be more likely to have it if you are outside of Canada.
I went to Best Buy yesterday to buy this and they said it was discontinued, why?

There´s nothing new on this camera, we just have to take two photos in different positions then mix it. It´s only more convenience.

Does 2d images show the left and right image that can
be downloaded on computer and then viewed on
photoshop? Will I be able to convert EACH image to
