i was in saudi arabia recently, briefly in a long layover from singapore, i went to get coffee and while i was ordering an old saudi man just started talking over me to the guy behind the counter and waving money.... the poor coffee guy basically had to serve us both simultaneously.... this happened twice in my 6 hours in SA... was i unlucky or is this some cultural thing? for what it's worth everyone else was ridiculously friendly... and that's airport staff!
