@superearthbender Shut the fuck up. He knocked it down with his hand because it had just fucking gone critical and a milliseconds delay would kill everyone in the room from radiation poisining. He died because he was not quick enough to remove the plutonium half sphere.
This trailer can be seen on the 1990 VHS of "Let It Ride (1989)" Let it Ride opened August 18, 1989 and flopped at the box office. Fat Man and Little Boy opened October 20, 1989. The film was also a box office dud. 1989 was almost a bad year for Paramount Pictures.
what the hell do you know superearthbender?!?!? you dont know shit!!!!!! with a little common sense you would know that back thin tv's and radio's were not vary reliable and giving thim a nice smack might not have "fixed" it but it made it work...and the guy who smacked what ever it was he his wasnt a scientist the was General Leslie Groves.....and the "26 hour 8 days a week" wasn't meant to be taken literally it was a metaphor that meant that we was working hes ass off
1. highly intelligent people would not smack a radio active item off with their hand, they would use an interface.
2. Highly intelligent people do not over state work hours like "26 hours a day, 8 days a week". hell there isn't even a pattern to it. I hate you idiots who make movies about genius. What the hell do you know.

after watching the trailer, I have two problems:
1. highly intelligent people would not smack a radio active item off with their hand, they would use an interface.
2. Highly intelligent people do not over state work hours like "26 hours a day, 8 days a week". hell there isn't even a pattern to it. I hate you idiots who make movies about genius. What the hell do you know.

@superearthbender Point #1 actually happened, though not in Manhattan Project. Look for "demon core" in Google.
