That's not a great songwriting to me, when they wrote i wanna hold your hand they were just kids, and even then they were very good. If you knew anything at all about beatles you'd probably know post '66 compositions, which are way much better (lyrics and chords) than oasis and rolling stones.

Copied isn't exactly true. They've been greatly influenced by them. And that shouldn't be a surprise, they come from nearly the same place, have similar backgrounds, etc.

I have heard interviews with both John and Paul and they say they have been inspired by melodies and lyrics of other's songs and that lead to some really great songs of theirs.

Inspiration is much different than copying. Many artists are moved by others to create what they do.
