  • great music !

  • wonderful *****

  • This was amazing. I have these "Meditation Classical Relaxation" CD's of famous composers from the Classical, Romantic, and Baroque eras that I listen to and I swear you could put this song right in there with them and it'd fit perfectly, even besting some of the other songs, that is how good this is. Bravo.

  • Very lovely style.

    Beautiful.Thank you

  • like!!

  • Very beautiful composition. You have great talent. Your feeling really comes out in your music.

  • @dante02206 Thank you my friend, thats one of the best compliments I can get!

  • This is a very warm and sweet melody Karl. I think you do a wonderful work here on keeping a steady flow in the melodic progress. This style is also in my oppinion difficult to maintain on an interesting level because it is easy to make it very monotone, but you manage to have surprises here and there which keeps ut the interest.

  • @gonrolgonrol Thanks Roland, much appreciated. I agree with what you said!

I sometimes find myself losing interest in slow and almost "beautifully exhausting" pieces - but then I realize I was just not in the right mood or state of mind. First time I listened to Mozart's Jeunehomme (piano concerto no.9) I liked it. After a few weeks and another listen, I absolutely loved it. Anyways, always nice hearing from you buddy. Cheers!

  • Une très douce mélodie bien interprétée.

    Félicitations

    André

  • nice work Karl

  • A wonderful composition! Your wife and baby will be proud of you!

  • very nice composition :)

  • @jeni704 Cheers :)

  • Great Composition! It kind of reminded me of Beethovens 4th piano concerto (which I saw last night at eastman theatre.) with the faster sections more so. how did you record this? was it 2 seperate tracks?

  • @TheGuyWhoJustShotYou Thanks buddy, always a big honor to be compared to the maestro!

Yep it is two tracks. First I recorded the organ, and then the piano - which can be kinda tricky without a metronome. How was Beethoven's 4th? I need to have a listen to that sometime, I love his 5th!

  • @KarlNerman the concerto was good, I am used to the big russian concertos (rachmaninoff, tchaikovski, prokofiev ect.) so I guess I'm not the best person to ask. the first movements intro is very much like a piece you wrote. (I forget which one exactally) and is mostly scalar with some arrpegios and chromatics jumbled in. the second movement was my favorite! it was a call and response between the piano and orchestra. I suggest you listen, not as good as #5 but still a very impressive piece!

  • @TheGuyWhoJustShotYou I definately will have a listen! Im in the process of listening through all of Mozart's piano concertos (yes, all 27), after that I will listen to the remaining Beethoven concertos. If Im not mistaken Beethoven only did 5? So that will go faster. :D

Anyways, Im actually working on a wind sextet at the moment, it will be interesting to see how it turns out!
