I am soooo heart broken. :( It will be comforting to watch more Shiba videos until my dear sweet Shiba puppy is born any day now. Yes, I put a deposit down on another!!! Once you go Shiba, there is no going back!

People say German Shepherd, Labs, Retrievers! Since I was kid we've had those and Basset Hounds,Springer Spaniels, etc. Indy is my first living on my own dog.
I tell people its likes having a very intelligent, very stubborn 8 year old.
A friend bought a Shiba Inu a couple of years ago and I have never seen a dog as intelligent as him. The bonus is that they are so beautiful. Thanks for posting.

sooo cute!! I've been told that Shiba's don't bark all that much to not at all, but seeing Scout proves me wrong ;D

They don't really bark at all. They howl or yodel a lot mainly. As for barking- not really.
