hi....im using visual studio web developer 2005 express and im unable to connect to the sql server 2005/2008 express...i had to tried to define user instance (as per the error message ) and followed other error messages too....but still unable to connect my database in web developer 2005 express ....any tips?

I have had a lot of problems as well. I often get error messages about not being able to connect to remote location. I think I have been able to get around them sometimes by fiddling with name for the local host. Good Question! Try using Google on the exact error message. Thanks.

No offense Harvey, but yourvoice is a Liiiitle. Dull. Very smart guy though=). YOu just gotta spice up your voice. Even sound stupid if you can. It will MAKE people want to listen.. Very good tutorial though.
