Hydraulische holzspalter sind der größtescheis. zwar kraft aber viel zu langsam. außerdem versuch mal mit dem eine ganz krum gewachsenen baum zu spalten ...... das schafft der nicht.

a lot of power for a 9 ton splitter. impressive.

Only for the second log of this video i had to take the 9tons with lower speed (7cm/s - 9t) for a short time. All others I split with the higher speed. (17.1cm/s - 3.7 t). You see, the logs could be much bigger than this one.

Das Spaltkreuz ist eine klasse Sache, nur was bei dem Salter der große Nachteil ist, das ist die Spaltlänge. Bis das Holz die Länge von 20, 30 cm hat, muss es vorher schon mehrfach gespalten sein. Bei längeren Holzstücken finde ich die stehenden Holzspalter praktischer, da hier das Arbeiten leichter ist. Das Lupfen von Meterholz auf einen waagrechten Spalter ist kann man vergessen...

that is SOME piece of machinery, very impressive. probably does not cost too much and could make a lot of money. at the very least, it would save a great deal of time.
