i think it's an intelegant pony & you may be tall but not too heavy, because from this you look fairly light-boned aswell as thin :)

As long as the pony is fit and healthy, I don't see any harm? I've ridden shetland ponies and other small breeds before, and they aren't dying under my weight? :)

@myfordkarocks you do realise that if that pony can rear up with her shes not to heavy. i admit shes tall but the pony is fine! they are able to carry at leas 2 times there wieght!

This horse wasnt even shaking when she was holding me, she wasn't in any harm. If you look at other videos like I mentioned, you see full grown MEN sitting on horses this small, and even though that is animal abuse, if you look, the minis are STILL holding there weight. Miniature horses are different from full size horses and ponies. Just like donkeys are. Miniature horses are surprisingly stronger then you would think. I have raised miniature horses, in no way would I harm my horses.

If you weighed 110 in this, then the pony was above 550 pounds, right? Because 20% of 550 is 110, meaning you'd just be light enough for the pony to carry you, if you were truly 110, and the pony weight 550 pounds. Ponies and horse should only carry 20% of their weight, regardless of their breed.

Just want to make sure you're not crippling the poor thing ( :

@AliasRaven No she is not, but I was on her for less then 2 minutes, therefore this is not abuse in anyway. If you look at other videos, you see full sized men riding miniature horses smaller then mine, now thats abuse. If she can pull over 200 pounds in a cart, she's fine to hold me up for a minute, in no way did I harm this horse, and as you can tell I just didn't hope on and force her to rear up, she has been trained to do this. I am tired of people saying this is animal abuse.

@brooklynnparker96 If you're on a horse/pony that shouldn't be holding your weight, that IS animal abuse. You're lucky you don't live around here, if my Animal Control saw this video, even if it was only once and for a few minutes, that pony would be as good as gone.

It's your pony and you can do what you want with it, but I wouldn't suggest ever getting on it again, unless you're dead set on crippling her.

That's the last I have to say on this stupidity.

I thiiiink the reason that Sible is being rewarded for rearing is because that she's being taught tricks as opposed to being ridden, probably because it's plainly obvious that the pony can't be ridden comfortably :/

Don't you think you're a little too big for the pony ? She couldn't get up becouse you're to big .. I use to ride a shetlandpony, but i only walks, becouse i'm a little big for her. But she was pretty :)

you are to big for that pony and shouldnt be sitting on it, but at least you care about it. I see to many of these type of vids where the people are horrible , but you were smoothing it and giving it a treat so at least you care about it
