I forgot you can change controls. i tried this game with the perfect shot and had trouble knifing and throwing grenades because a buttons on top. I'll have to change that around instead of just using regular set up

house of the dead sucks. RE is where its at. However, this game looks strangely like House of the Dead, except the voice acting is probably better. And the monsters are scarier. It's good to know that it fills in the gaps to the story too.

In addition, you were coherent and thorough with both products which certainly helps deciding whether or not I wish to make the purchase.

One thing I must say, this is (for the most part) not next gen graphics. Most of the graphics besides the final chapter are copied and pasted from Remake, 0, and the Outbreak games. The only areas in Raccoon City they use are Outbreak areas.

Nemisis was tough to beat in RE3 and you had to fight him with the worm things out of his body in RE3, So, if they didn't make Nemisis a tough boss in this game, people would be disapointed

Great review, but I'm just going to point out that the absolute best way to play Umbrella Chronicles is to put both the Wii remote and the nunchuck in the zapper. It feels much more immersive this way, and you flick down on the back to reload and shake the back to dodge enemies.

dude the Wii remote and nunchuck isnt the standard setup ,the Wii remote by itself is. thats the best way to play. fastest and makes all the motion/button comands easier.

I thought this game would be pretty downgraded like the other attempts like survivor on the ps1 or dead aim, but it's actually a really good game! Especially if you remember the locations, because you know what enemies will appear. Co-op mode is even better too, you'll find yourself shouting at the other player telling them which zombie to shoot, and it's actually pretty funny. Take Nougies word for it, it's worth buying.

Thought you'd like to know if you don't by now, but the Resident Evil 3 locations mostly come from the locations in the Outbreak games, which took place at the same time as Resident Evil 3. It's a bit screwy, but basically you're playing as Jill or Carlos in the Outbreak scenarios.

Actually, no you dont need to...but if you have the zapper then yes but with the basic ontrol scheme you actually dont need the nunchuk but you wont be able to look left right, up down but that feature is pretty useless anyway...if you dont have a nunchuk dont let buying the game stop you.

I was irked with the contradictions as well. And there seemed to be more questions than answers for me.

I always believed Leon A/Claire B was canon, but this apparently says Claire A/Leon B but Wesker's Report before this was basically like, "LOLZ, NOPE. BOTH ARE CANON."

Anyway, nice review. I liked this game because it reminds me of House of the Dead, bad voices and all.

You should have hooked in the nunchuk on the back of the gun, then u just kind of shake the gun to reload and you can use both hands to hold the gun to your shoulder like you're really playing, it makes the game feel more realistic as though ur really running from zombies.
