There is no organisation called “Al Qaeda” The term "Al Qaeda." means "the base" in Arabic. The name originated in America and was used to refer to the CIA database of the thousands of mujahideen who were recruited, trained and armed by the CIA to fight the Russians. I guess you can’t be proved wrong when your story is about a group that doesn’t even exist.

@lesdoyle2000 well alot of things are like that, when the CIA needs to refer to somthing which is of unknown name (and this happens all the time) they just give it a name. a good example is when spying on soviet weapons and projects they would often just assign a name so they can better organize their intelligence reports. just because no one is actually in a group with the name "Al Qaeda" doesn't mean organized terrorists dont exist.
