it may be hard to compare bands etc. but the bottom line is that there is NO band of any genre that has as many awesome songs as maiden....maiden has DOZENS of awesome songs. most "great" or even legendary bands dont have more than 10 great songs....MAIDEN has like 50 lol

Seriously, im british and i live in the uk, and iron maiden blow EVERY other britsh band out of the water. It pisses me off that the british people are all obsessed with pop music in this country, westlife, oasis and robbi williams are considered the best british "artists" because they have sold the most records, but their music is SHIT compared to maiden.

Iron maiden deserve to be called the best british band, because quite simply, THEY RULE!!!

RUSH was by far my favourite band until i discovered maiden..i don't really compare the two as they are so different and to be honest it's almost impossible to find any similarities.rush are great but maiden are awesome,excellent song and title track

Indeed. The first (Forgot his name for some reason) wasn't that good in my opinion, and the other one, (Forgot his name too lol) was simply okay. Combined they still don't even come close. Bruce is better than Ozzy and James Hetfield too.

Iron maiden at its best with even kiss opening up for them. The band and all its members are underrated. Adrian and dave are great guitarists while nicko is recognized as one of the best 50 drummers. Steve no comment about him. the band need to do a sevent son tour again like they did with powreslave. I saw that one, It was unbelievable
