I am an American who recently just saw this film. All I have to say is 'A Separation' is an artful and complex masterpiece that will be studied for years to come. On Oscar night, there was no other film I was rooting for more than this one, and I was so pleased when it deservedly won the Best Foreign Film award. Was even more pleased with Asghar Farhadi's acceptance speech - saying that he was against all cultural tension and hostility. A true, thoughtful filmmaker with class. Congrats!

I'm hoping this incredible film will make it into all 3 categories at the Oscars! Foreign picture, Original Screenplay, and Best Director. With Farhadi and Michael Barker working together, this film is truly unstoppable.

This movei just won the Golden Glob. When they played this music, the whole atmospher gone melancholic. Simple yet powerful. Well done master Farhadi.

Possibly the best film of the year. The screenplay will be studied for years. An exceptional depiction of modern (Iranian) society. Fantastic work from the entire cast. Farhadi is an amazing director.
