Not so much strategy as much as listing the ammo types.

Here's a strategy: Use Security Command 2+ to summon a Security Bot, stick it with as many Proximity Mines as you can manage and then send it at a Big Daddy.

Double barrel with full upgrade and phos shots is amazing! Explosive damage, fire damage, AND electric damage! Its a recipe for big daddy death... but drill is definitely the best lol. Melee those big sisters and whoever designed them will be kicking themselves for not giving them a drill...

@killa432546 actually, the best big daddy death recipe is fully upgraded launcher, and Winter blast 3. kills an Alpha series in one hit (after freezing of course)

I never really used the launcher, its a good weapon but I just don't like it much. Same with the machine gun. My favorites are the Shotgun and the Rivet gun. Overall favorite weapon is the drill, but thats just a given =) using the Drill Specialist tonic makes the game so much more fun...

- Shotgun: the extended mag only.

- Machine gun (if you got some PTTP station to spare: damage and recoil

- In dionysus park: save 2 machines and upgrade the grenade launcher. The upgrade it to full

- I use the spear gun quite a lot so I max it also.

@pvp909 um well i play on the PS3 console and the multiplayer is great, its well put together but if you've ever played Modern Warfare 2 online then you'll find that Bioshock 2's multiplayer mode is very, very similar. the maps are..pretty big..I would say its a medium i guess. but yeah its very well put together. You actually have to be kind of tactical in it just as in Modern Warfare 2. there are vents and jumps and traps you can set for awesome kills. and yes, to answer your question.

now here's a question for someone to try.... if you don't pick up the shotgun, machine gun or grenade launcher when you first see them, but have the patience to wait until you find the alpha series and pick up there upgraded weapons, will you have those upgrades yourself? oh, and same goes for bioshock 1; what about trying to pick up splicer's machine guns (if you dont have one)?

Somehow... it feels like it lacks weapons. I know I shouldn't be saying this but having gone through the game it felt like here could be at least a little more variety than weapons that just skim the basics of different weapon types. Other than this the game was good and I made full use of the weapons. Then again I didn't know I could set traps with my spear gun. Been freezing the enemies and planting little turrets the whole time to protect the little sister. xD

Imagine Bioshock as "Appetite for Destruction". It was incredible and we'll all remember it forever. However, let's just say "The Spaghetti Incident" doesn't exactly meet the same par.
