i stayed at this hotel four years ago and remember seeing these weddings at the hotel......the brides always looked fabulous and the atmosphere was fun and joyous....it was the highlight of my stay in Egypt......a belated congrats to the couple :)
I don't know who the couple is - like you, I was just staying at the hotel and there was this incredible spectacle in front of me! It was really beautiful - and such a gorgeous couple. Of course, the rest of the trip was simply indescribable - I am still fascinated and currently reading "Cleopatra" by Nancy Schiff. And wearing my Isis charm - LOL
U girls talking because u dont know what is like to be married to an egyptian men, I do not want to make anymore comments but is different culture , religion, everything is better to get involved or married to someone from ur own country or at lease someone to share u own thinkings and culture , regardless Egypt is a nice country to visit and the music is nice the people too is very helpfull over there but that was it.
@ballm0use That probably wouldn't happen. Unlike female circumcision, male circumcision is actually mentioned in the hadith, the reason being for hygienic purposes and to stop bacteria from forming in that area.
@2qewl4u hadiths mention female circ. Some consider it an obligation, other scholars say it is preferred. hygiene is a classic way of justifying cutting. Of course, most of the planet has intact penises, around 80%, and they are healthy. just like dogs, horses and other animals that have foreskin as an integral part of their penile system, developed naturally by nature, and created perfectly every time by Allah. The Koran does not mention genital cutting of any kind. I prefer Koran to hadiths.
@ballm0use I didn't say it was an obligation nor did I say it was mentioned in the Quran rather it is much much preferred. Hijab is not mentioned in the Quran but people wear it cause Allah said to follow the rules of Quran and then look into the hadith if it is not mentioned in the Quran. Hygiene is a huge part of Islam and it has been proven that circumcised penises are much more hygienic than uncircumcised ones, which develop smells and other bacteria much faster.
@ballm0use female circumcision is not mentioned in that single hadith as an order rather the prophet said to go easy on cutting since female circumcision was wide spread in the Arab world at the time. Just like slavery, which was very widespread in the Arab world before Islam was introduced, which took sometime until it disappeared after Islam was introduced.
@2qewl4u just like all that you said, male circumcision was widespread before Islam too. thanks;) now lets see how long it takes before circ disappears. not too long. There are already a few anti circ muslim groups out there. check em out!
if someone can tell me how is called the skills that women used in the songs when you create this voice effect with scrolling language, i like that but i never find out how is called.
its called "zaghroota" or a woman would "tezaghratt" , which is the fast side to side very fast movment of the tongue pushing air and high pitched voice...;)
in upper egypt , the women would move the tongue upa nd down - instead of sideways - and that creates the "n" sound during the "zaghroota"
