Firstly, they're death metal now, with the addition of "Charn" and losing one of their guitarists, the indian dude, their sound changed. Secondly, Johnny Davy started the whole pig squeal thing and was told by his record company that he couldn't do them anymore because they didn't want any backlash from anyone who tried and fucked up their lungs. Most importantly, theis is the best metal band out there next to Obscura.

@WillyBumm You're a cunt, shut up. Ruination is by far better than any other album they've had. I hated their first EP. Doom was pretty good -- Ruination blows the other two out of the water. Jonny won't do that gay BMTH-wanna-be shit pig squeals and screams anymore. He's evolved as an artist, and he said he's sticking to Death Metal. Learn to respect the band and don't be a little bitch about their emo crap in the beginning.

All their death metal songs on "Genesis" sound too much alike, and I miss the screaming and pig squealing. Their newest album, "Runation," is good, though. I like it a lot, but I don't like it quite as much as "Doom."

i like doom more than ruination but i like it equal to genesis. i listen to doom the most so i guess i like there deathcore stuff just a wee bit more. just opinion though... and i kinda hate ruination, good songs and all but the riffs were sloppier and the vocals were alot quieter and not as good. once again just opinion.
