Samsung screwed me over, I bought the phone when it just came out .. I payed arround 600 euros, and I've god damned waited almost a whole year for an update, it took like 1 min to open some things the phone drove my crazy .. now the update is finaly here (in the netherlands)  I will be updating it in a few mins. I better it's a good update (I don't have an xp pc only vista and 7 so I couldn't flash, and I didn't wan't to use vpc, since it fucked my dvd drive on my old laptop)

yea, its great to know that new firmwares are coming. but, as long as it means that i have to screw the phone totally to get them working is still a huge issue. would be a lot easier if they would get the "PC Studio" working on i8910 or even better would be the possibility of OTA uptades that are common on symbian phones.

Currently you need to have the Italian firmware. The update will be available in other regions soon though.

Yes, it's made of hardened glass. It won't scratch or break easily. I've dropped mine several times and nothing happened.

Yes the new update has the 3D task switcher and several other enhancements. Hopefully the update will officially come out soon.

is it opera mobile 10 beta 2 or just opera mobile?

also theres a opera mini 5 which is best for this phone? csn you send me a link to the version you downloaded, can you download from phone or from a pc?

I used opera 10 beta 2. Opera mini is ok too but it compresses content making it faster but not as attractive. The links for the downloads are in the video description and you can use both your phone or your pc.

Wow, the weather application is amazing.

It's really too bad that they didn't just implement this from the beginning, but I guess it wasn't completed yet....the PowerVR thing is *great* but the thing is, there are only a few symbian devices that support decent 3d graphics, so no one is going to want to program a good game for unpopular devices :(

IT's a QT application...QT is still in beta and is not integrated into the OS like it will be in future Symbian phones. Try looking on Nokia beta forums.

Tried installing the QT demos, But none are working, they just make the screen flash and return back to the menu, I've had QT fluidlauncher installed and working for ages now, can't figure out what's the problem

I've updated the links on my blog in the video description for how to get it working. You need to uninstall previous versions then install qt_selfsigned, qt_installer and fluidlauncher. Hope this helps

Its there! But it was not developed for the phone. It was considered in early product planning phase, however, due to strict regulations in some regions as Samsung was targeting global launch, it was removed.

Great info. Any idea if they fixed the camera GPS bug in where the coordinates of the image correspond to a location in the wrong hemisphere when displayed in Picasa? e.g. I live in San Jose, CA and all the photos I take using GPS on the i8910 show me as being in China!
