  • Pattern 1914

  • what you mean :you make stripper clip or you make mosin nagant

  • I like M17s and Springfields, but if I had to go in harm's way, I'd want an Enfield, either variant. 10 Shot mag, acceptable battle accuracy, works under any conditions (they all pretty much do that), but they are the fastest cycling rifles from that era. I was trained on and SMLE as a cadet by Korean Vets. We used to make the SMLEs sing. Others are more accurate and preetier, but they are the ones that can lay down a lot of accurate fire.

  • try making a krag jorgensen 1940 version

  • wich pixel is the clip?

  • enfield rifle

  • CARCANO RIFLE

  • 30-40 Krag

  • Mosin Nagant 1891/30 and Mauser 98k FTW!

  • now put that up your butt hole and squeeze the trigger ma nigger...

  • Those are NOT spent rounds

  • Lee-Enfield No4 MkI, I own one, its the best.

  • enfield for the win its amazing i own one

  • yep

  • You look to young to be holding a rifle dude.

  • I own many World War II rifles, and I have to say I like the Mauser 98 the most. It is very accurate and smooth. However, my 1934 Mosin 91/30 is a close second and the most fun rifle I've ever owned! MAN that thing is fun to just dump ammo down range all day, and ammo is dirt cheap for it. I can't get enough of it!

  • Thats not how a stripper clip work you... GAAAH.

They are much thiner, and, us another tiny metalsheet that also works as a spring, holding the shells.

  • @Sk4ggen the mosin and enfield both use these type of strippers idiot

  • Lee enfield is the best rifle ever made, mosin nagant is number 2

  • MOSIN NAGANT i have one with a hex reciver from 1928

  • Mosin Nagant all the way! I have one myself from 1937 manufactured in Russia.

  • i cant pick. all ww2 bolt actions have some great points and some crap points

for instance the lee enfield no4 it has a 10 round mag which is good but it fires rimmed ammo which is crap and it isnt all that accurate.

the mauser 98k strong action reliable good round accurate but bloody heavy kicks like a mule and whats with the ww1 sights .

so yeah theres something to love something to hate and something to mas****ate.

  • @higgininja oh thank's man.dame lot older then my mosin.mine is a 1938.and got it 2 weeks ago.and i love this gun.

  • @higgininja haha sorry man.just jokeing with u man.I got a mosin m44.and love it out of all my guns.how did u make that.what year is that gun?

  • @redneckman211

I bent some scrap metal around a couple non live shells. It was extremely makeshift. My 91/30 is a 1942, and my M44 is a Romanian with the common 1955 date.

  • @higgininja how did you get the bolt

  • @higgininja haha ok big man.I just got a youtube profile a day ago.haha u do not have to be a big boy to me.do not give a shit.just saying it is mean ass gun.u look like u are 10 in this video.do not have to get mad and cry about it.so go put your mosin down and give it to a big boy and go play your x box.

  • @redneckman211

Honestly calm down. I own an M44, and it's much more harsh than the 91/30. I'm not crying about anything, and in fact I am a big boy. I can handle all of the rifles I own. I don't know why I look young, and I don't cry about anything to anyone. I also don't own an xbox. If you aren't going to leave a constructive comment, I'd appreciate you don't leave one at all.

  • what u doing with a mosin.what are u 10?that gun is mean as hell.or did u take it from your dads room when he was not home?

  • @redneckman211

Considering this video was up one year ago, and I turn 19 in less than 3 months just goes to show how pointless your comment is. I looked at your channel to notice it's quite empty. So before you judge in such a way, why don't you mind your own business. If you wont contribute to the youtube community in even a semi helpful way, just know how low you've put yourself in the world of trolls and useless people.

  • well my lee enfield no 4 mk 1 has to be top but the mosin is next in line

why lee enfield for #1 well im canadian and thats the reifle we used in ww2 and i still have one my great grandfather was issued

  • Springfield 1903. Got my great grandfather out of the marines alive

  • u have ur own rifle!!!

  • For the poll...

    Lee-Enfield, no doubt.

Its simple to use and clean, bolt is easy to disassemble and operates very smoothly.

Highly accurate at range, .303 has good stopping power and moderate recoil. Magazine is detachable, follower can easily be removed or replaced if necessary. It can hold 10+1 rounds giving it the largest capacity. It has good balance and great iron sights, the trigger pull is also great.

I have a Mosin-Nagant too, both are great great rifles, but L-E wins hands down.

  • mossin nagat

good rifle sturdy built with russian ideology so sand mud and water after sittin in it pickit up and shoot it right away perfect

  • Hands down the best bolt action rifle from WW2 is the Springfiled 1903A3. 30-06 kicks the hell outta 8mm mauser.

  • Why not test u said idiot

  • @TheLoltaz

I did test it. Watch the clip.

  • i have a nazi issue K98 mauser that i shoot 196gr yugo bullets through it. i can shoot less than inch groupings with it at 300yds and a 16x scope. its ancient, but its still decent for accuracy and makes my nagants (both 91/30 and m44) feel like pea shooters.

  • the Lee Enfield is a really good gun, i got one but the bolt is broken :/ it's fast firing and you get an adventage with the 10 round mag. I think the Lee Enfield is best

  • @nono3711 Whats wrong with the bolt, which parts are broken? Maybe i can help?

  • @TaZ101SAGA the firing pin broke and fell off. if you dont understand me it is cuz my english sucks

  • @nono3711 You will just have to get a new firing pin, thats the only thing you can do.

  • @TaZ101SAGA ok, thanks but i cant find anyone

  • The SMLE is the fastest firing of the bolt actions with a ten round capacity. Watch the sharp edges on that stipper clip or you could put an eye out:>

  • all the way mosin nagant love the russians love the gun fav go commi's

  • Lee Enfield holds 10 rounds

  • @39noobtuber so what? it doesnt have an internal magazine

  • Very nice, I sometimes have trouble with my stripper clips, mostly in the cut up thumb area lol. I vote for Mosin Nagant, I absolutely love mine. Not a single time have they had any kind of malfunction. How many mosins do you have out of curiosity? I can't imagine just one, cause once you get one mosin... well that mosin needs a buddy... and so on lol.

  • I hate the krag its re- ta -teded

  • Dont shoot me!

  • Holy shit dude... that's the smoothest load I've seen on a mosin nagant stripper clip! I'll take 50.

  • Have Mosin Nagant myself. Kindof young to own that Rifle. Well its good you take care of it. By far I am not being biased but I belive the Mosin is the best Bolt action all around. But then again the enfield would be the next.

  • @SBFHawk1

Yeah, at the time I was. Now I am 18 and all the rifles that where mine then just leagally are now.

Haha. Thanks for your input man.

  • Lee Enfield. Accurate and holds 10 bullets

  • @Brenzilla4698 Mosin Nagant: $69

  • @Brenzilla4698 10 rounds not bullets

  • Lee enfield. quick, powerful, accurate.

  • @RAINMAN22TP Mosin Nagant: $69

  • that's a sweet rifle you have there!

  • first off im am british, but even my non biased oppinion is the 1907 short magazine lee enfield. a few reasons are because; it has a 10 round magazine, a very sturdy bolt, a smooth action, and is very reliable. Also by having my grandfathers ww2 rifle i learnt how to do the mad minute, so in about a min i can fire off probs 35 rounds. Lee Enfield FTW!

  • is it real firearm you have how old are you?

  • @Shazee083

Yes. I am 18. So when this was taken, I was 17.

  • @higgininja isn't illegal to own a firearm in some states

what your mom and dad said about it owning an real firearm just wondering

  • @Shazee083

I started collecting young. My father has since signed all the transfer papers and they now officially belong to me.

When I was a minor, I saved the money, picked the right gun, took care of it, and shot it. It only legally belonged to my father. And my parents appreciate my hobby.

  • @higgininja you arent 17 in the vid

  • @ghillietutorials

I was 17 in the video.

  • mosin nagant 91/30

  • springfield the legend

  • in soviet russia clip strips you!

  • @twotoneairsoft

    haha. Best comment. lol

  • i made a 34 round ak mag on my bench out of roofing steel and some scrap. the spring came from an old bed. ban that democrat ass whipes.

  • @molemanlivesagain

I love this comment. Very cool man!

Makes me want to try it. lol

  • I would of spent my time making a Karabiner 98 Kurz or Lee Enfield, possibly just buy them yet they're not cheap so I'd make one but I'm not that intelligent so I guess I would try.. But it would probably explode in my hands.

  • make a springfiled and do a video how u make them plz that would be good

  • the Mosin nagant.

  • You spent all this time when you can go buy one for under 5 dollars.

    NICE

  • @winxiebio

I invested my time into a nice fun project. Don't look at this as anything more than just a fun experiment.

  • Lee Enfield all the way. WOO ENFIELD!

  • @TheFuture22ndSAS lee enfeild kicks all arse's

  • 1903 Springfield because it kicked japans ass...

  • @DontClickOurURL

i completely agree lol i want to buy one so bad but they cost so much, i own a mosin, which was a great investment

  • by far my favorite ww2 era rifle is the mosin nagant M91/30!!!

    no doubt

  • I love them all :D

  • what are the dimensions? im thinking about making one

  • same that yakky44

  • kar98 all the way

  • the LEE ENFIELD 1 because i live right next to wer it was named after ( enfield), 2 it had a large magazine ,3 it was the most reliable bolt action weapon said on discovery channel ,4 it locked only at the front of the breach and not at the back not like the kar98k mauser wer it locked both ends and thats a reason why we brits use 2 win the fire fights cos we had tht split second advantage. well we dint win the fire fights ... our grandads and great grandads did.

  • Karbiner 98 Kurtz (German)

    High power

    brilliant accuracy

    easy scope and bayonet mount

very easy to maintain reload discharge

    light(ish)weight

    :D

  • Great vis also the lee enfield because of the 10 round capacity and the easy action bolt and the ability for the mad minute

  • In Soviet Russia, stripper clip reloads YOU!!

  • @molenaar401 hahahaha. awesome. thanks for the comment! =]

  • lol

  • mosin nagant rulllllz! ;)

  • Mosin Nagant is one of the greatest bolt action rifles

    EVER.

  • @koduncan

    Damn straight.

  • My favorite would be the k31 because it is extremely accurate and reliable, and it is fast thanks to the smooth straight pull bolt.

  • mosin nagant is my best i just life the way it looks and how it workes i realy like it with the sniper scope

  • god its too hard to choose so ill choose three, the springfield, the mosin (i own two) and the K98....dont get me wrong the Lee is great (fastest action at the time plus removable magazine)

  • @0122358

Yeah, I appreciate your opinion. The lee was definitely ahead of its time, but probably unneeded such advancements in the battlefield of its time.

  • @higgininja im working on a project with my Mosin 91/30 to hit accuratly out to 1000 yards. its hard but fun....its a test of a good friendship too...

  • @0122358

Oh, that actually sounds rad. Excuse my hip lingo. I would love to do that, just need to find a far range around here.

    PU sniper I assume?

  • @higgininja PU? if you mean am i using an origional scope then no. I bought an aftermarket free float stock and put a 4-16x Mil-Dot scope on top with the bent bolt.

  • @0122358 Ahh, I see, nice.

  • @higgininja

    Bullcrap!!!!

  • @TheIzzysteve

Yeah, you caught me humoring someone.

  • 1903 springfield, because it was the most accurate rifle of its time.

  • nice clip

  • @xmarinex179x Thanks man. =]

  • lee enfield

  • hey man i loved the video do u think you could make one about the lebel 1886 if u could thanks and ill see u soon

  • i'd have to say the 98K (karabiner 98, Kurz; a.k.a.= carbine version) the actions are precisely machined, smooth as glass. the gun takes minimal mantainence (within reason). absolutely golden in the hands of a sniper. only problem is the 8mm cartridges are rather expensive to obtain.

  • @SchutzstaffelAnarchy

    Thanks for your input.

  • 22 pretty much

  • I'm going with my trusty old Mosin Nagant. Its an awesome rifle and one of, if not the, best deals you can get on a high powered rifle. Once you get the cosmo out, and learn not to fire lacquered ammo as fast as you would non-lacquered, the action is quite smooth.

Though I'd like to have any of those rifles in my collection.

  • Mosin Nagant 91/30. This is no joke, we saw a guy out hog hunting use his to - a) drive his tent pegs, b) use it as a tent pole in a homemade "brush stacked on a tent" blind, and c) drop a 273 lb hog w/ one shot behind the front leg at just over 160 yds.

  • k31

  • K31!!!! My straight pull bolt can destroy any other in fast accurate fire. To bad the swiss are always neutral, and the rifle was never combat provin. Or it surely would have gone down as one of the best rifles of WW2

  • Thanks for the comment.

  • @znignflo72 well, the K31 is rather bad assed. i own a 1943 izvehk nagnat and i even say that. they were strong enough to bash open doors and the magazine could be used as a step to get over walls.

  • @SchutzstaffelAnarchy nagant is another great rifle, mine is a 1942. Very accurate rifle, was shooting 5/5 on a steel plate at 100 yards. To bad thats the longest part of the range i go to, wish i could shoot it at 200 or 300 yards, that would be a blast!

  • @znignflo72

Range near me has a 600 yard lane. Thats a ton of fun, optimistic, but fun.

  • @znignflo72 the best i can do is 60 rounds (steel cored bulgarian) in a 10 inch group. still working down to 3 bullets one hole. i have shot the famous "2000 meter dash" and still hit what ia was aiming at: a house.

  • @SchutzstaffelAnarchy

    Hahaha. Nice. Sounds quite illegal.

Next time, fill the house full of tannerite.

  • My favorite rifle is the Mauser 1898 Gewher. I prefer it over the Mauser kar 98 kurtz because it has a longer barrell, strate bolt handle, and better sights. Also it just looks cooler to me. Oh, and it has the same 7.92 x58 mm bullet as the mk98k

  • Lee Enfield cuz i like it

  • Pure ingenuity! Way to go on making custom parts! I'd love to see an instructional video on this.

As for the poll, I'm torn, but I'd say the Mosin was definitely the most reliable, often outlasting their operators. The Russians had been producing the weapon since the 1890s, longer than the Springfield 1903, so the design was perfected simplicity.

  • Maybe I will slap together an instructional.

Nice write up of the mosin by the way, I like that "perfected simplicity" statement.

  • Thank you. I hope to get one in the future, being a history nut and all. It sure is a heck of a lot easier than getting a Garand!

  • Oh man, you aren't kidding. I am such a history buff and I love these old guns. I stumbled upon a family M1 Carbine, and it's been all downhill from there. Good luck!

  • Lol, I know exactly how you feel. I know people are proud of their AR's and what not, but the old stuff has been to WAR!

Oh, and my grandpa left an M1 Carbine behind as well. He was a Sherman driver in the Missouri Armored Reserve.

  • Awesome! =] My grandpa was in Korea, drove tank too!

  • Did he ever go to Chosin? I can only imagine what it was like being under MacArthur.

  • He was fortunately stationed in Germany during the war.

  • i like the mosin nagant but i dont know why. anyway cool clip

  • Thanks. =]

  • Love my Mosin Nagant sniper rifle, but the k98k seems to be more reliable, easier to handle/load, and has a smoother action. I say more reliable because those pesky rims on the 7.62x54r sometimes get caught on one another, whereas the 8mm mauser cartridge has no such problems. So my vote goes to the Mauser 98k. Mosin Nagant a close 2nd... love the SVT40 more than both though XD but that's a semi lol

  • get a real one. i bought them in a local gun shot. a box of 20 for 3$

  • this was just a project. I do have real ones now, but they don't work as well as this one.

  • about my favorite bolt action. type 2 bolt action with sniper scope. only 3 in the world left.....

  • nice.

  • k98k just cause its cool lookin

  • about your poll, all of them 'cus their history

  • Great answer.

  • this is not about how much money you can save, this is about how much fun you can have doing your own project(along with the knowledge you can gain) just give some polish to it and stamp your initial in a circle on the back of it

  • Thanks man. =]

  • i know what it feels like, working on your guns, thinking "what if?"

P.S; you can buy on gunshows or money order

  • I just bought 20 stripper clips online for like $15... and you probably spent like an hour making 1

  • this was about. 10 mins. and I cant really buy online.

  • why not just buy a pack of them for like 2 bucks

  • I was not able to order online, and I really had nothing better to do. This one does work better than ones I have bought.

  • mosin nagant

  • Kar98K is without a doubt the best bolt action of all time in my own opinion.. i am a proud Kar98 & Mosin nagant 91/30 owner :)

  • m1 garand

  • I like this answer. lol

You were supposed to say a bolt action gun, but I do agree. The M1 was sweet.

  • yeah but i couldnt say anything but m1 otherwise finn m39

  • muser 98k

  • K98 WW2

  • ahh the reds sniper rifle of the 40's,

    i have an origonal myself.

  • 1942 Lee Enfield No1 MkIII*

Shot'em when I was a kid and love to shoot'em now, classic!

  • 1903 springfield

  • my favorite isnt on that list but its called the gewher 98 its a rifle version of the kar 98k it is very durrible and amazingly accurate

  • M1 Garand, Springfield and Mosin Nagant.

The MP40 and Thomson also get an honorable mention.

  • I pretty much agree. Thanks for the comment!

  • my fav aint actually any of those options (except carcano which is 2nd)

my fav is the boys at rifle

  • you know its ppl like this that will survive if the world gos to hell 2012 im gunna try this idea for my WW2 lee infield 303

  • =] thanks.

  • i have to agree with the 2 bellow me. i like the mosin because of its dependability and the springfield for its accuracy. cool stripper clip, would get my own mosin but am worried about the recoil.

  • 91/30s have very little recoil. M44s and M38 are the ones you have to worry about.

  • @USARMYAIRBORNE101st

Everyone told me it would kick like a mule, but its really not that bad at all and it was the first rifle I ever shot (other than .22). It will make you a bit sore if you shoot like 30 rounds, but the kick itself isn't bad at all.

  • I would say either the Mosin Nagant becuase of it ruggedness, the powerful round, and If you know how to get rid of sticky bolt it's a great rifle. Just a hell of a deal ecsepcially for $79 dollars. Runners up would either be the Ariska becuase it has the strongest action a guy red did khis for .30-06 so any rifle action that can send a .308 diameter out a .264 barrel is dam good. Lee Enfield is another good choice becuase of the smooth action but I'll put up mosin with a lee enfield any day.

  • Thanks for the comment. Gotta agree. A mosin thrown down stairs would still function at least another 100 years. ;)

  • lee enfield, and i wana see the unshot SMLE, very very few unfired ones still exist

  • What unshot SMLE?
