Granted Palin does have "a better track record of high administration, than Obama has."(1) Sarah Palin supported a tax increase on oil company profits. Which then in-turn raises the price at the pumps. And we all know it wouldn't kill if gas was a little cheaper. She knows gas isn't affordable, she proposed giving away $100 debit cards to help pay for the cost of fuel. But that is only a temporary solution. I don't know if any of you have seen Obama's plan on independent energy(2), but his....

The RNC failed to talk about specifics, it has been extremely VAGUE. Am I the only one who notices this. I have only heard about McCain's life, "these uncertain times", and drilling in the United States. How about the American people, how about education, how about outsourcing of jobs, how about wind/solar/hydroelectric as well as oil-coal and natural gas. How about affordable health care for all Americans. This convention did not address specific issues, it echoed 2004.

McCain's a good guy and he's giving a good speech. But it amazes me the way some people think that war and nationalism are the answer to every damn problem under the sun. I'm not sure they are or were ever supposed to be.
