I have watched AvP - and it is not good. The men go in armed liked tanks - so of course they all die, hideously. *Very* plausible. Still, at least I won't have to watch Arnie & co. dying like flies on the same quest. Story - paper-thin, like the girl's clothing.

AvP: Requiem is worth missing - I have seen that too, "so you don't have to" (as Nostalgia Critic says.)

I just wanted to see predators and aliens beating the living shit out of each other, and there were few awesome scenes which really had Aliens fighitn Predators. but i wish the film would've had a better script. maybe make us care about the predators as decent characters and replacing these awesome predators with the humans. srsly, who cares about humans in sci fi blcokbusters?

AVPR was a better AVP movie than the first though. more gore and violence and less humans and a hot chick (but she dies so that sucks). but the story was just utter bullshit. the ending of AVP and the beginning of AVPR is just bullshit but i thought AVPR was ok.

That Predator lets Wayland (Lance Henrikson) live because he has cancer. It considered him to be an unworthy opponent. Kind of a Spartan/Klingon philosophy they have. I have to admit, I kinda dig that. The concept of teenage Predators going through the rite of passage by slaughtering xenomorphs bred intentionally to be hunted is actually accurate to the mythos. The xenomorphs were originally created by the Space Jockeys. The Alien prequel will explain their origin story (or that's what I hear).

I hated Paul Anderson scince he fucked up one of my favorite Games. Resident Evil. Why he didnt make a movie out of George A. Romeros Script and turn it into a movie that was worth to call Resident Evil and a great Zombie Movie. It couldnt fail, it was written by George Romereo. That Guy is the King of the Zombies. Its like Anderson just takes that script, whiped his ass with it and threw it in our faces!

The alien predator fight sequences were very closely edited so that you could not see much and is a good sign of a bad film. First class review mate. It has already been established in Predator II that they can see underneath skin/armor, etc.. (the pregnant cop is spared). So why do they just let him live? Did the script writers even watch the fucking previous films?

5. Entire Alien life cycle from egg to full grown Alien is 20 minutes.

6. Setting it in present day was the biggest mistake, and having Weyland-Yutani angle was fucking retarded.

7. They simply should have based it off of the original concept of having it take place in the 'Alien' universe.

This movie was a fucking blasphemy upon the entire concept of what an Alien vs. Predator movie should have been. They nailed only a minor portion of the flaws of this film. This movie was essentially one giant shit on top of both of the franchises. As an avid fan of both series, I felt this so-called film was like a giant fart in the faces of any self respecting fans of the genre.
