However, I these passages do not imply subservience, or a woman being less than a man. That's what I was referring to. I submit to my husband as my head and as the head of our household. However, scripture also exhorts us to submit one to another. This does not imply that the wife is the head of the husband, but that there is mutual submission.

However, I these passages do not imply subservience, or a woman being less than a man. That's what I was referring to. I submit to my husband as my head and as the head of our household. However, scripture also exhorts us to submit one to another. This does not imply that the wife is the head of the husband, but that there is mutual submission.
