Many hate each other and in times of strife there may be widespread suffering because of this. A one man for yourself is prevalent and this could prove very dangerous even in the initial stages of a widespread disaster or collapse. Despite the propaganda you see in the US media, Haiti is a rich country in terms of natural resources, and it's strategic location has always made it vulnerable to imperialist attacks. Haiti would have been annexed already if it wasn't for the innate resistance of the Haitian people.

@peacerebelgirl No Haitian government has been able to government without the approval of the US / France / Canada / IMF / World Bank / UN...And this is why they hated Aristide, because he stood up against them and refused to sell Haiti for pennies on a dollar. The majority of the sweatshops in Haiti were established during the dictatorial reign of the US-backed, Duvalier duo. Aristide attempted to raise the wage, as you know, and that was it for him.

@peacerebelgirl Remember when Columbus and his men arrived in Hispaniola (Haiti & Dominican Republic), he enriched himself by killing off the Natives and stealing their gold and other treasures. It's already been confirmed that Haiti possesses large oil reserves / gold (Ask those Canadian mining companies) and other minerals. I commend you for rejecting the lies of the mainstream. @nadoop if their is a plague in America, it will be the last one they release because their will be no mercy after that, remember the swine flu hurt many more as well as killed many more, here is some good advice when they are spraying use a spot light or flash light then you can see the particals they are using, also eat a whole clove of garlic it kills most colds right away, so as soon as you feel a cold starting eat it, it works

@SpaceMan131326 what also works is elderberry sauce, but you can only use the dark ones not the green ones, and no stems or leaves because it contains cyanide, not good, but the ripe dark berries stirred and cooked in some water makes a very good medicine for colds and aches and pains.

Now if our utilities were shut down to a point that we could not use our own toilets in modern cities, You just might see wide outbreaks of this. So it's not a racist point to make but a cause of concern. no one ever thinks how fast one families defecation can add up and what to do with it. You bury too much in your backyard and you might see disease and death in weeks. I say that would be Barbour time.

@MayonR wow an actually intellectual response, great points, i never said in your backyard though, out houses were far from the farm house for a good reason, the best way to dispose of it is either by burning, or lime, or some sort of septic bacteria, some rid-x in a hole that has been used for a week will get rid of anything in there in a few days.

@Wyndstarthedruid A lot of us have bug out plans to prepare for worst case scenarios. It seems a good idea to consider some of these septic solutions as part of the plan. Over the years I've noticed this is the part that is the least or not spoken about. That was the reason this interested me.

@MayonR definitely. yes Bug out plans are essential. but what is more essential is gear, a plan that cant change is a plan that is destined to fail. but yeah, an "aloksak" bag full of rid-x in a tin can will take care of all of those problems. andddd i meannnnn, if you realllly had to, you CAN reuse it, its just.....never gonna be as clean as the first batch, if ya know what i mean, dig it up, give it some food, and the colony will grow back. its nasty to talk about but its ESSENTIAL to talk...
