I'd advise on learning how to perform the tasks that the applications are performing by yourself/by hand, so you reduce the amount of applications you install. For instance, learning about the registry and knowing what is what and being able to remove things without questions
While it's nice having a good understanding of the many aspects of a OS it can often be time consuming, inefficient, and a hassle to many users. Most average users aren't going to take the time to learn the ins and outs and even most advanced users aren't going to take the time to scour the registry hive seeking out errors and discrepancies.
However, it does help to have a good understand of these things as it can always come in handy but in most cases isn't necessary now-a-days
Lol, Well I am sure you do but I am referring to most users not a select few. This video and it's corresponding one is geared to most "Average" computer users and offers simplistic, easy to follow advice.
Great video, If you need any help getting your videos or channel exposed, i use a service called thetubeviews . net it has helped 5 of my videos get ranked on the first page
Damn your like OCD every thing so neat and organized. lol i wish i had the will to clean up my desktop. great video never knew about auslogics. i use to use all those security programs. i didn't need them so i deleted them. it would usually take 30 minutes for each scan and nothing would ever be wrong. i still use cccleaner it's a good program. i don't even have a anti-virus setup. i don't like any thing running in the background so only my windows firewall is protecting me.
Lol, first off organize is key to keeping up with your system easily and efficiently not the mention the benefits of speed and fewer system resources being used.
You choose Windows Firewall over 3rd party Anti-Virus protection? o_o
I keep two real-time protectors running at all time and scan with 4 different scanners at least once a week. It's understandable to be concerned about them running in the background but with proper maintenance, hardware, and anti-virus applications it isn't an issue
yeah that's how i roll lol. yeah i just found it tedious and redundant scanning every week and not finding any problems. maybe i should keep the tea timer active it's really useful. there one thing a forgot to ask you. when ever i plug in a usb device the auto run window doesn't pop-up. i always have to go into my computer and select it ANNOYING. any suggestions?
Organization is not the key, you can still be organized and majorly fuck up your computer because you don't know what you're doing or not be able to operate the computer efficiently or easily because you have no idea what this thing does.
Virus protection isn't needed if you are capable of monitoring all actions performed on your computer. (Virtual sandbox) and.. you are able to disassemble a program and view everything that it performs (such as reading ASM code)
I don't think you understood quite what I said completely. I said organization is key to keeping up with your system easily and efficiently which is true. This doesn't mean the system can not be comprised and come across issues but rather means it's easier to correct issues and maintain your system when everything isn't randomly scattered at illogical locations and you quickly locate necessary files with ease. Not to mention it's easier to find something out of the norm
Also, your inferring that "average" users needs to learn reverse-engineering and running everything in a virtual environment similar to that of Sandboxie then I couldn't disagree more. That's just a ridiculous claim. To expect that of an average computer user is absurd and doing so as an advanced computer user for everything is also rather high-strung. I rarely find a need for Anti-Virus clients or to run applications in a virtual environment periodically to test their integrity. It's over-kill
good job
some ppl need to see this video.
more for low end machines.
