Although this guy is obviously a little upset, this technique does work quite well especially on a mountain machine with a narrower ski stance. Not only does it help lubricate the sliders, it helps to bring snow up to the rear cooler!
hey how do those ski scratchers hold up when you drive down a road to get to you trails haha i seriously got to know cause i want to do this but not if its going to rip out of my ski and rip part of the sky out with it haha
@thierracing notice how they put a pin through the bolt in the skie you take the pin out pull out the scratcher ride across the road or what ever and slide back in and put the pin in
hey. pretty sure it's 1/4 wide. I tried thinner ones and they bent after a while, so thicker the better, within reason. Length doesn't matter too much cause you just weld the washer to the height you want it to hang down under, then drill the cotter pin hole above ski height and pack with washers until tight. works awsome! mounting on OUTside of ski is best., inside doesn't get as much in your skid! i tried both. hope this helps. if your making some, do a bunch up at once!!!
hey that was a neat idea w/ the bolt on the ski. was that a 1/4 x 2 or just what size was that?? and does it make a diff if its on the inside or outside of the ski?? thanks
it doesnt work, dont waste ur time
