  • If you think this song is pretentious, pompous and judgmental you should then proceed to take a sarcasm class.

  • @Aepotheosis Hey. Idk why you removed your comment but seems like you haven't heard much AJJ if you take this song all literal. Go listen to Cigarettes and complain how stupid it is to think smoking is cool.

  • @darktriangle69 I realized why it was sarcastic right after I posted the comment and as a result removed it.

  • God this whole fucking song just makes me smile every time I listen to it. It's so brutally honest. I love it.

  • anyone notice the sigh at 0:02 ?

  • does anyone else notice to "swallow tattoos" video in there suggestions lol!!

  • i dont get it, i dont like folk punk music yet i like Andrew Jackson Jihad

  • I'm a judgmental asshole, but I'm not pretentious. Therefore, this song is the new anthem for my flagship of Hate against the groups mentioned therein.

  • I enjoyed this song. It was funny. :)

  • lyric correction: it's called the marquee. it's a venue.

  • Is it just me, or are half of you idiots who don't understand the song? He right out in the song indirectly calls himself a pretentious judgmental asshole. And Vamp..whatever, I don't even know what to say to that comment, unless it's sarcasm, in which case I commend you. But if it's not, the term non-conformist is the dumbest thing ever. It is completely impossible to be non-conformist. You always conform to something. No matter what. We are all sheep. There's no escape. Resistance is futile.

  • @rikmomentary I mean, sometimes this just gives me reason to be pretentious, because some people will just completely not understand the song, or interpret the wrong message. I mean, yeah, music is what each person makes it, but dammit, some songs just only have one meaning. This is why I'm all "oh, they were in AP...that's not awesome." sometimes, because the general public is just not ready for certain things, and when presented with it, they act like fucking retarded idiots.

  • hipsters hating hipsters. yawn.

  • @allrequiredfields how is Andrew Jackson a hipster D:

  • @sarahthebanshee BECAUSE I THINK HIS MUSIC IS WIERD ADN I THINK CAUSE HES DIFFERENT HE MUSTT BE HIPSTER HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRR

/if you haven't already notice I'm being sarcastic, but I'd like to add that this song is supposed to ironic, making fun of a group that commonly associates itself with the band, Much like Frank Zappa made fun of Hippies on the album We're All in it For the Money. Anyways even if AJJ is hipster (which they're not since they're songs are based on folk and punk...

  • @BabyrapeMcmethlab Cont. you should still listen to them if you like them because life is to short not to listen to music you love.

  • @allrequiredfields That's the point, fuckwit ;)

  • @catguyauble Hardly. They're individualist, not hipster, and don't have to pretend to be something they're not, because they already are, fucking awesome and non-conformist.

  • @spacecataz0 no shit holmes. but the guy was saying that a band member's name was andrew. which is not true.

  • Perfect.

  • Last line...total sarcasm you guys.

  • Fucking scene fags.

  • the modified is a venue in phoenx

  • @got1inorange yes it is and its always badass on the first fridays of the month!

  • Because the modified is too small - just doesn't sound right... argh!

  • Andrew, your awesome.

  • I think a lot of people miss the point of this song. Also, Andrew claims to be an asshole in a few of his songs. He also claims to be pretentious in a couple. So this song is probably a form of projection.

  • And this song itself is pretentious, pompous, and judgmental. lol

  • @rikmomentary Look at the final line again...they agree.

  • what do you mean? it says what i said.

  • @rikmomentary so maybe is sarcasm? you know of how everyone in the different punk "scene" just hate everyone else

  • @rikmomentary That's probably the point. Irony is big among hipsters and hipsters love this music. Hipsters also love self-mockery (ties in with the irony) and not admitting that their hipsters.

  • @rikmomentary You must be pretty hip

  • @rikmomentary how is it pretentious

  • @rikmomentary Good God... not nearly as pretentious, pompous, and judgmental as scenesters...

  • @rikmomentary How so? It's obviously a rage song, with lyrics that express how he feels about the "scenesters" getting involved with THIS specific scene.

  • @rikmomentary that's the joke...

  • @rikmomentary aren't the two member's names Sean and Ben? I feel like Andrew isn't a band member's name haha

  • @codeyblevins haha yeah, that is true, sean bonette and ben gallaty or something like that

  • Comment removed

  • @codeyblevins @rikmomentary dude, andrew jackson is a president, not even an obscure one, he's on the fucking twenty dollar bill.

  • f**& scene kids.

  • best song ever? possibly

  • lol dude this is why I love andrew jackson jihad XD

  • LOL epic XD
