Software isn't THAT bad. Try checking out some of the GForce of Arturia VSTis. Not as good as the original analog hardware they are aiming for, but pretty damn close.

sorry vst plug ins ain't that close. the arturia and g force stuff sound very much like a software synthesizer or a hardware virtual analog at best. i have the korg ms2000 in analog collection legacy from korg and its only 65 percent like the hardware.

I own many analogue synths and ALL virtual instruments dont sound as full be they virtual analogue or virtual instruments.

Most analogues are pure where as most virtual stuff is always drenched in delay and reverbs to make it sound half decent. Come mix down you'll need to strip these fx away and you'll realise that your left with a thin crap sound 90% of the time.

Yep, for digital synths virtual this and that is great. But for analogue, its like listening thro a telephone.
