Your Hines is absolutely great! But your hasler was absolutely terrible! I feel ashamed to be watching this having played Hasler. Hasler can be such a great character if you have the right direction and the right actor playing him.
hmm, im sid in my schools version of this, and i have long hair kind of right (shoulder length) and my drama teacher wants me to cut it for the show :| but i dont want to. I was either gonna get a wig or somethin, (coz it took me more than a year to get it this length :| ) but slickin it back looks okay :-\
Cut it, not only for the show though. I personally hate long hair on guys. It was really in in 2005-ish, but then it all went back to the classic short hair cuts. This isn't my reasoning though... that was just a side thought. It's easier to keep clean, and it makes you look more put together. You don't have to get it REALLY short either. But a happy medium.
Hmmm... it seemed a little too robotic. This song is about how their backs may break and their fingers ache! They aren't supposed to be chipper. They're angry.
In this there was no tension, no anger!
"Your fingers ache and your back make break but I'm smiling and skipping and dancing as I say this!"
I think the big problem is the lack of mics in a cast that isn't used to projecting without yelling. Alot of the emotion and feeling is lost by the fact that these people are yelling to spread the information. It also seems like a junior show which is just awkward anyway.
I'm performing in The Pajama Game too at the Des Moines Playhouse.
It's funny how many shows are never based in "Iowa" the only other one I can think of is "The Music Man". As an Iowa myself I feel so isolated. To grow up here makes it difficult to become an actor. I'm on my way. lol.
Hey man my schools currently working on the pajama game and by the looks of it my school is the best at this. The chorus is better and so are the actors.( i so dont mean to brag) if anyone wants to come it will be march 6,7 and 8 at 7pm but the 8th will be at 2 and 7pm. At Boca Raton Community High School at the kathryn Lindgren Theatre. 12 dollars at the door.
wow this brings back memories of last year i still remeber the songs but being on crew was a pain in the ass we had a larger set and it was a bitch to move it and seting it up and can anyone tell me what tempas fuget means and am i spelling that right
The conditions at the Sleep-Tite Pajama Factory are anything but peaceful! As sparks fly between new superintendent Sid and Babe, the leader of the union grievance committee, their stormy relationship is made known just as the factory workers strike for a 7 1/2-cent pay increase. Not only does this set off a conflict between mangement and labor, but also between the men and women!
Set in the mid- 1950s, the upbeat and brassy score is brimming with songs and dances, which ahve become popular and musical theatre standards such as "Steam Heat" and "Hernando's Hideaway."

:\ yeah i suppose
But I know for sure i'll have to get my hair cut short one day or another :(
and the only problem with my hair being in between is that its naturally curly and i straighten it, (not emo or that btw) ((no offense to any))
lolageproductions 2 years ago
and and it would just go into tiny little curls which i find unbelieveably embarrasing and I hate them so much :|
and i've only had my hair long since maybe october last year? and i was teased the life out of for having it curly :|
anyways, thanks for being my shrink XD just kidding, but thanks for the opinion

Also, the singing is pretty horrible. The kids are just too young for this show.

Tempus Fugit is the Latin translation of "time is fleeting" (or "hurry up").
