@gamboakid Due to unforeseen weather delays pushing the launch outside of the permit window, our students had to refile for a new launch window. They are currently on track to launch July 22. Stay tuned!
something tells me, that those guys who claim not to have known that beautiful scientists exist, just haven't seen a science-class from the inside.
Science-Girls just aren't into wasting hours of their day with makeup, when they could use it to work on something that's important. And the choice between a new pair of tits and a new laptop or lab-equipment isn't a real choice for them either.
they just use their head more frequently then their tits to get what they want.
@griffonstink: Sony is doing a project to encourage young people to to science... Eventhough I agree with you on not wanting to see commercials, you gotta admit that considering the value of their project, they actually did a lot less advertising in that than expected.
Choose any recent TED-Talk and you get more advertisment in there than in this vid. Could have been a lot worse...
@griffonstink the kids learned so much on this project. Without Sony's help, none of this would have happened. It costs a lot of money to get a rocket off the ground. It's quite a process. The kids had so much to learn in such a short amount of time. Sony merely helped this happen.
I wish Romania education system was similar to US. Here it's all about theory theory THEORY ...!!!! and no actual practice at all :( I envy you guys :)) Best of luck with your projects
overacted....sony seriusly if you want to sell something sell it for its quality ,dont sell us garbage thats gonna break in less than a year... of course this is a case of how to NOT build a rocket... you can do all the calculations in paper, you just need a calculator paper books and materials and the weather preview program(that is the only feature of this computer) is not a must...you can just check the meteorlogist webpage to calculate climate and winds...

@macfreak18 i know this page isn't for this, but atari created games... but i LOVE how sony is helping education, science, and technology with this project

They build rockets to send stuff into space and this just gives high school students who may want to do something similar a chance to try it.
Go get a life instead of making fun of or putting down high schoolers who are excited about something.
