I think this was good... Well some of it. I liked the music a little. Liked the Dreams together parts. I think this would have done better as a stage show. But as a night time stage show. I see where disney was going with this but maybe if they had put it as a stage show Disney wouldn't be so ashamed of the name "Light Magic"
I want to know how they thought they could this off as a good Electrical Parade replacement, there were other great attractions ruined with crap like this within that time period. Stupid Eisner.

If they hadn't adverstised on commericals that it was going away and not coming back and just let it quietly leave and then brought Light Magic in, it would have been fine. I personally thought it was fun. But there were multiple reasons for its demise.
I suggest they should rewrite it and make it into a stageshow at Fantasyland Theatre. They could add Tinker Bell and her friends and make a new story. Just a suggestion.

where did they park the stage that wasn't used during the small world performance did it hang out at the Market House gate until the Main Street performance?

Amazingly after the short run of this parade amid the insane leavingd of the Electric Light Parade which now can't keep attedance up at DCA, whatever happened to these amazingly designed parade floats? The technology and artistic artisty was beautiful far beyond any recent Disneyland float ever created in California, at the least.

whats the story linee !! the good part was the video montage thingg and The Music ! But I Odnt Get What the video has to do with the parade ! also , what on earth are witht he characters they bring , quasimoto , one little pig and one dwarf the others were fine but whatt ? I Dont Get It !

you know what would make this 100000 times better? Cut off the middle parts completely, and change it purely to a parade...with the "Dream our Dreams" Finale and possibly the Disney montage as a show stop. Keep the fiberoptics and add more floats. I think people will like it a lot more!
I think another huge problem with this "streetacular" parade-show was that it was WAY too long...I can imagine the grownups shifting in their seats (sitting on the hard concrete for probably hours) and saying "I waited for this??? When will it end?"

In my opinion i feel that Light Magic is developing a loyal following since not much people don't really know or forgot that Light Magic did exist at one point in Disneyland history and from watching a videos of the show they may feel a different opinion of whether they liked it or felt like its good but could use a few tweaks it will eventually find its audience that wasn't there all along.

As an MSEP fan, this "show" COULD have been better for the cost of putting it together. Still this is to Disneyland what Sgt. Pepper was to RSO (Robert Stigwood Organization) in 1978 after GREASE was a huge hit. This belonged on stage, not a parade route. Thanks for posting the videos!

The film is the only decent part this "Streetacular" pile of you know what. I used to feel so bad for the people that would wait for hours to watch this and then wind up right between two of floats. I heard that the take the old floats out to a disney warehouse in the desert so they dont have to get moisture on them and get moldy.

Why did Light Magic fail miserably?
