Hey. I inherited my grandpa's old baseball card collection and don't know how much it's worth. The ages range from 1948 to 1957, and there must be around 10,000 or so. There are good people I've heard of like Mickey Mantle and Willie Mays, and there is one from 1952 signed by Mickey himself! I am not sure where I should look to find prices , so I was wondering if you could direct me in the right direction. Thanks!
keep collecting vintage. New stuff is not even worth shelling money out on and has ruined a once great hobby. My favorite set is the 59 been putting that together since i was 12 years old back 87
nice cards, i've got a nice collection of vintage myself. its been passed down through three generations. We have 3 1956 mantle's and pretty much the whole 56 set. also have the 58 all star set. the Maris rookie, clemente rookie and many others. its good to see that people still care about the vintage, so many people are caught up in all the new product now.
you got some awsome cards. I have 3 good cards. 1 1909 t206 ty cobb and 1 1969 nine mickey mantle and a aughtografed 1989 ken griffy jr. rc. upper deck made it
I just started my own vintage collection imm only a kid so its kinda small but whatever....my question is should i buy screwdowns or is a soft sleeve inside a regular hard case OK???
Thats a pretty good collection so far!Heres the thing,i ALWAYS put my older cards in a sleeve and then into the hard case when i can,but you can put them into screwdowns as long as its not too tight.Because you never want to have too much pressure on the card.So yeah the soft sleeve inside a hard case is great as long as you dont shake it around too much!
Heres another tip, dont leave your card where alot of sunlight is goning to hit them because it will fade the card.
Really good cards, and a nice song.
