I absolutely love the Grand Oak. In five playthroughs, I always gave him back his acorn :)

i wish you could recruit him like an emissionary. i'm pretty sure if he exists, others like him should do as well, and they would be a fantastic addition to the army. or mabye just as an addition to theDalish forces, like the Legion of the Dead to the Dwarves.

but who knows, mabye helping him in the first game affects the second? :)

anyway, you should have collected some from the werewolfs you've already killed. if you destroyed them, you'll have to reload. i can't think of any other way. sorry :(

I can only image what Shale would think of the Elder tree. Hopefully someone at Bioware will realize that playing as a gigantic moving tree would utterly kick ass and make one of these guys a playable character. And don't give me any of this "BUT HE'S A TREE! HE CAN'T BE A Playable Character" Crap. If they can't make a Golem a playable character, they can make a tree a playable character. They just need it to be a young tree so it isn't the size of the entire screen.

considering a tree is a demon, and a golem is made with the life of a dwarf who's sould and consience is inside the golems, sorry for spoilers but thats probably why...

@yeticowman I actually had Shale as a party member when I encountered the tree, I do not recall she had anything notable to say. I agree: a tree PC would be nice (if a bit oddball after Shale)
