  • There's an another version of "Lupang hinirang" exclusively shown in defunct (OR renamed) RPN-9 by the Armed forces of the Philippines in late 90's to 2002. Showing their military equipment as well as F-5A Freedom fighter jet of the Air Force, a number of Simba APC's of the Army and one of the "Jacinto-class" corvettes of the Navy.

  • True. I'm enjoying anything ASEAN actually.

  • Philippine present government has no vision for the Filipinos yet they have mind for what's the best for their pocket.

    They even love the terrorist....

  • The Philippine National Anthem grabbed the first runner-up prize in the World's National Anthem Competition of all the Nations. There's no wonder about it. It's a very meaningful and patriotic anthem. I have read the English version of it, very nice and nationalistic.

  • Pano mo nalaman pare?

  • wow! I didn't know about that. :D

Can you please give me your reference so that I may believe it in my own eyes!

  • Shut the fuck up who disgrace my country. mabuhay philippines!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Shut the fuck up.

Go be a hater somewhere else.

Our song is a marching song,

and we fought hard to fight the Spaniards.

Philippines is trying to be its best, but there are other who are ruining it for her.

  • I believed that the Filipino flag isa gay flag, it looks like a rainbow. Same as the rainbow coalition. The 3 stars signifies multi sex symbols of tri-sexualism. The red and blue signifies a coded transgendered and cross dressing pinoys. The red is up it means that themale is gay dominant, and if the blue is up it is the other gay partner who is agressive. The white triangular portion of the flag means submission or surrender.

  • You are so full of fantasies. Keep them to yourself, though, ok?

  • Red stands for the bravery needed when the Filipino KKK fought against the Spaniards.

    Blue stands for peace

White stands for the purity of the Filipino people

The three stars represents the three main parts of the Philippines, Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

    The sun signifies life

The Eight rays of the sun signifies the eight provinces that sought independence from Spain

The triangle is the sign of the rebels against Spain, The Katipunan

  • if u come up with this stuff than you are gay

  • sino nakakaalala ng lupang hinirang na pinapakita sa tv nung early 90's? yung umpisa may bata na kumakanta. may hawak ata sya na candila.

  • ggggggaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy ass video!!!!!!!!!!!

  • How do you know Nathan! Did you have a gay relationship! Did your ass say VIDEO!? JAJAJAJAJAJAJAJJA

  • pls stop this. This song is the national symbol of a whole country. When you said what you said you just disgraced a whole country of people.

right now i have only two sentences to say:

Saying curse words only says that you are uneducated enough to not find the right words to say.

Think befoe you act, or in this case, think before you type!

  • This official version of our National Anthem was developed by the Philippine National Centennial Commission in 1994-1995. It was in preparation for the centennial celebrations. The project was undertaken by the Advertising Foundation of the Philippines with production by ACES under Jun Castro, with the whole production being sponsored by the BPI. The tempo is how it should be sung and played as it was originally composed in the March tradition. Will have to get the name of the talent. FYI po

  • honestly, the philippine flag is way too common. no offense please.

  • it is ok, as long as it symbolizes correctly for the philippines

  • Do you know what RP flag symbolizes? US flag is also very common.

  • I beg to differ. The Philippine flag may seem common but we should not forget that, to my knowledge, it is the only flag in the world that can indicate whether the state is at war or at peace. That in itself is a unique characteristic of the flag.

And I don't think it is too common. It is easily identifiable, and because of the stars and the sun, it cannot be mistaken with any other flag, unlike the flags of indonesia and poland.

  • You're Right! Aside Indonesia and Poland. The flag of Ireland and Cote d'Ivoire are also similar.

Yop I remember, the "panahon ng digmaan" flag is reversed where the red stripe is up and the blue stripe is down.

  • It is commonandit is also a gay flag!

  • ito dapat ang last words, mas militante:

    AMING TUNGKULING UBUSIN ANG MAPANGAPI

ANG PUMATAY NANG DAHIL SA IYO!!!!!!!!!

  • Too brutal...not militant! I think you should stick up your up!

  • ang ganda ng babae sa una part!

  • This was played earlier at the Ayala Land Stockholders' Meeting. Some parts were cut off though, due to obvious reasons.

  • Honest question:Sino kaya yung babae sa simula? I wonder what her name is.

  • So what does KKK stand for in the philippines? Dont tell me there are filipino supremacist out there.

  • KKK stands for Kataas-taasang,Kagalang-galangang Katipunan ng mga Anak ng Bayan (Supreme and Venerable Society of the Children of the Nation).

It was used as the name of the society that was led by Filipino nationalists and revolutionaries like Andres Bonifacio during the Philippine Revolution from 1896 in the cry of Pugadlawin and ended after the Declaration of Philippine Independence of 1898in Kawit, Cavite.

  • Sana marinig ito sa Beijing olympics.

Go Team Pilipinas!!! Go For The Gold!!!!!!!!

  • it should be in bisyan bersyon hahhhha

  • Just curious. Is there a national amnesia among Filipinos? The "original pinoy national anthem" was not in tagalog or "pilipino." It was in Spanish.

Hmmm...

  • The National Anthem was changed to Filipino when the Filipino Language was declared as the National language in 1935.

The Filipino Lyrics was declared as the official words of the anthem in 1956 under the Magsaysay Administration.

It was also changed to Filipino because the Philippines is now a Independent Nation, not a Spanish Colony.

Pero Hindi ito tinatago sa Taong Bayan.

The Lyrics was a poem first in Spanish, then it was considered as the national anthem in Aguinaldo's Presidency.

"God Bless Us All Always...!!!"

  • i like that version, for i like the centennial year 1998. and at last, i found it!

  • The last frame has so much meaning. "This is the Philippines.. signing off".

  • well done! better than the ABS "version" It show in some pics our past!

  • This is the Full Version of this Video.

Well, I've never seen this Full Version of this Anthem.

    Nice Video.
