@whereskim89 There wasn't a remake of this... Like the top comment said "Inglourious Basterds" (2009) and "The Inglorious Bastards"(1978) are completely unrelated. If you actually watched both of the movies you would know this. The only resemblance they have is that they both take place during WW2 and have a similar name; and even at the title from the 2009 movie is just a homage to the older one and they're actually spelled differently...

@thelatestttplague I did watch Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds which was a good movie but I never saw this one but I only now found out about a old ingrourious bastards the 78 one, True it doesn't look like a out and out remake but I am wary about Hollywood remakes of good movies. You are correct these movies are totally different just similar titles

The Tarantino movie isn't a remake. He just gave a little nod to this one by using the title. The title's spelled differently, and the plot has absolutely nothing to do with this, other than it being a war movie.
