Very nice. Btw, I checked out your other channel and I was really impressed with your remixes. My personal favorites were "Break My Ice, Gosh" and "Shut Up the Maneater." Can definitely tell that a lot of work went into those songs (and music videos). Pokemon collector by day, DJ by night? =P

But yeah, I generally have a structure to everything, and I do take my time. Mash ups are just one thing I do, what I can also do is create remixes from scratch and, like you heard a bit in this video, create entire sets which blend into each other :)

@gyan4248 So i'm currently in the process of working out music for my sister's 16th birthday and making sure that we transform a part of the house into a club, essentially. Gotta have some bangin' beats though, even if it is Britney Spears. Lol.

I'll definitely check out your other channel. I really appreciate it when someone takes their time and puts a lot of work into their music. There are too many people on youtube who just slap two instrumentals together, overlap a vocal and call it a remix. Really refreshing to hear something nice.

@gyan4248 Haha. Yeah. Definitely making it big - so in a sense I probably will spoil her, but I think she needs a decent party for a change, so it's not just one of those simple ones. I suppose I'll be creating a whole new world for that night. Should be interesting to see how it turns out. May upload some footage here if people are interested.

@gyan4248 My frustration also lies in people just slapping random stuff together and bam they 'have' a remix, yet they really don't. Not in my eyes anyway (or ears rather). I'm a bit of a perfectionist though, I have a bit of OCD and the fact that I have synaesthesia always means I can never be satisfied easily with a mix so generally I only release if I'm 'OK' with it.

My remixing is also subtle, I'm a bit sneaky - but with further listens, people hear 'more' than they otherwise would.

@gyan4248 The thing I like to do is hand over the 'ear' for music to people. I understand not everyone looks at music deeply, and take it by mere face value, but music production being a huge passion, I want people to at least come close to 'seeing' or 'hearing' what I do, so with further listens people begin to delve deeper and hear things they wouldn't really on the first listen. Always quite enjoyable to see the reactions aswell! But yeah, hope you like the mixes! :)
