  • MEGADETH DO MORE THAN ONE SONG!!! WHY DOES IT ALWAYS HAVE TO BE SYMPHONE! :@

  • I've done a lot of things (x

    ... Drugs haha

  • is it me or does dave look fat? :0

  • @imakazero no he's a beast

  • @imakazero Just you bro.

  • I would think so... The G12 low wattage celestions are the best in the world to me.

Randy Rhoads backed away from the Celestion because he said they were a dirty sounding speaker and his sound was very dirty already according to his own words. Randy and His MXR+. But I have always loved the Low wattage green backs,. The new Gold and Blue are superb too. I really don't care for T 70s.

  • So...whats in it for speakers?

I really favor my G12 Celestions. What speakers does he have in it?

  • @AldridgeHalenFreak i think vintage 30s

  • I want his tone so bad!

  • @mac13ane Me too. Though it would probably take me five years to save up for the Marshall JVM410h with two Dave Mustaine cabs.

  • 6:14 kirk hammet wishes he could play like that hell all the metallica guys probly wish he could play like that hell metallica fans probly wish he could play like that....

  • @LFWOL Are you fucking high??

  • the way marty plays is his technique

  • I think kerry king's amp is way better

  • @RadialJugernot i like the kfk one too, but it doesnt have a clean channel like the mustaine amp, and this amp has 4 different channels. if the kfk had a clean channel i would buy it in a heartbeat

  • @luisguitarc214 yeah I know but the only reason why I baught the KK marshall was because the distortion was so incredible

  • @RadialJugernot hell yea, and then it has an installed noise gate and the extra punch of gain, that thing is beast

  • hey hes using the same guitar I have at home!!!

  • what did that dude yell at the end

  • @redballs345 He said GOOD ON YOU DAVE :P

  • I love the way Dave solos, its so fast and kinda sloppy, his solos are so fun to listen to. Fun to watch too, holy shit at 6:27 i have no clue how he doesn't use his pinky for that.

  • @mattman1127 Essentially, he is a blues lead player. Ever seen a blues player use their pinky?

  • @Gabriopunk77 Angus Young.

It's a large guitar, I have pretty big hands I feel like I'm tearing it apart trying to stretch my fingers that far.

  • @mattman1127 When I play Dave's solo, I do use my pinky. You don't have to imitate his playing.

  • @Gabriopunk77 Haha I know, my pinky locks up though and it hurts to stretch it to far. I went from an SG to this, it isn't a very easy transition, but the guitar is almost perfect so I have to adjust. I also don't have another 24 fret guitar. Marty's technique is even more unorthodox because he just slides everywhere lol

  • @mattman1127 Marty is self taught. He doesn't have any technique whatsoever. He had a bunch of problems in his arm for playing the way he does.

I started playing Jacksons in 2007, never owned any other brand since. I'm used to it by now. Can't live without 24 frets and a floating trem anymore. You'll get used to it too.

  • @Gabriopunk77 Marty is not self taught he went to Musicians institute along side of Paul Gilbert his first band was Racer X with Paul,But i do agree with his picking style it is most unorthodox i get carpel tunnel just watching....LOL.

  • @wpmtpm Marty is 100% self taught on guitar, and his first important band was Hawaii. He NEVER played in Racer X, which, by the way, always had just one guitarist. After Hawaii, Marty played in a couple of small bands before doubling with Jason Becker in Cacophony. When Cacophony disbanded, he joined Megadeth in the middle of RIP recordings. He left in the Risk tour, moving to Japan in pursuing of a solo career. He is a friend of Paul, but never played with him professionaly.

  • @Gabriopunk77 I stand corrected you are right i got him confused with Jason Becker thank you for unfucking me LOL.

  • @wpmtpm You got Paul confused with Jason, right?

  • Man, I wish I could see Dave at something like this and meet him. He is a true icon of heavy metal.

  • Practice your vibrato dave ;p

  • i would give dave both shoes....

  • thts one sweet guitar he got.

  • he played liar :D

  • @austin7956 you know the riff from the song liar which was on the so far so good so what album :D

  • @masters1990mj oh haha..i thought you called him a liar

  • @masters1990mj Where did he exactly play Liar? because I never heard Liar in this video

  • @MusicJamin330 i listened to it again ....he didnt play it hahaha my bad

  • @masters1990mj Yeah man, it's cool

  • really nice video, dave mustaine it's a reaaly simple guy, thats great

  • i love that..he's standing in front of a marshall stack.....and he specifies that its gonna be loud

  • Comment removed

  • 5:55-6:34. HELL YES DAVE

  • DUDE amp sounds way NICE!

  • 502 @ 2:48

  • What did the guy shout at 7:09 ?

  • @aznjt

'GOOD ON YA DAAAVEE!' In what sounded like an Australian accent. Being Australian, i'm pretty damn good at understanding angry yells and gibberish hahah.

  • @Coolnameification hahaha! yea that sounds right! THANKS A BUNCH :D

  • 7 people don't get the joke about the shoes and hit by one of those things

  • damn i love the tone!

  • 3:04 crown of worms?

  • lol he reminds me of Wayne from Wayne's World when he talks about the shoe throwing

  • lol he rushed through holy wars solo so quickely lol 6:16

  • Goddamn bro, he plays Holy Wars...Punishment Due with so ease, I don't wanna lick ass but he's fucking awesome.

  • god damn business men in the front. fuck man! put the clappers in front of the camera. not the douches dissin dave mustaine right there.

  • i really don't know what else to say other than, maybe, i'll talk with you later...

    GO ON YOU KNEES!

  • Comment removed

  • i really want to buy the angel of deth electric guitar.

  • I would give Dave both my shoes if he asked me.

  • what does the guy yell at the end?

  • damn that fucking rig is badass

  • 3:00 hellbent for leather kinda sound like it

  • which mode on which channel is he playing on?

  • It is what as head of ampli which uses on this video?

  • Marshall JVM410

  • Most original no copycat gun slinger there

  • No such thing as too much overdrive.

  • wow dave knows everything

  • I will say that Dave actually seems like he speaks from the heart but for some reason when Hetfield is trying to be all thankful and speaks from the heart it seems very scripted and packaged.

And I'm not even a Mustaine fan. I'm a Metallica fan.

  • ASHES IN YOUR MOUTH

  • haha, when i saw this, for some reason i saw "ASSES IN YOUR MOUTH." Quite different indeed. I love that song.

  • i would kill or rape for this stack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    no police

  • @IndeclineKills

dude if there were no police involved in the killing or raping... im sure anyone would do it o.o

  • "DAVE I LOVE YOU HAVE MY SHOE!" wow lmao

  • lmao best part

  • I'm far more interested in that V then the cabinet

  • those cabs have a lot a bass to them

  • ajaja me mata como se rasca la espalda ♥

  • Question is, how can you achieve this awesome sound without spending 2.5k$ for that JVM preamp.

  • try different amps Randall MTS has preamps that sound like marshalls

  • mustaine looks pretty built here

  • he kinds looks like he has a huge gut...

  • @AshFromCan and a huge bulge too

  • you spend 25 years in a tour bus with no treadmill you are gunna want a few beers too :p

  • @666miku666 and why exactly must it be a halfstack? You know you could probably buy cheaper and better for your neads if you went for a combo. Just a guess.

  • Hello Miku.

You are best suited to buy a Dave Mustaine signature cab and head like this one in the video.

The one in the video is a fullstack but just get a halfstack version.

Its a Dave Mustaine 1960A halfstack.

Go to Musicians friend and search that.

  • I thought he was a douche bag before, but i was wrong, he's a really cool guy

  • @GuitarRocks23455

and he can still a DoucheBag at the same time

  • @GuitarRocks23455 He's a Christian too.

  • Thanks for that vid,i love megadeth, and dave is a killer guitarist!

  • i gotta question, but it could be off topic. for christmas i want a line 6 hd 150 amp head to go along with my marshall mg series 100 hdfx cabnet. and i heard that if you put one guitar cable, plug it in, it could fry your whole amp, is it true? im really looking for a really good metal amp head to go alone with my marshall cab.

  • Just check the impedance of the head. The MG cab is 4Ohms.

  • @ABigMuffin do not get the line 6, get a blackstar, or bugera, anything tube

  • @decapitatedrathead Are Bugera's good for metal? I use a Randall solid state which I think I've outgrown the head so I wanna get a tube head

  • @TheBLOODLINEmusic bugeras are good for there great price

  • @jerrykane01 Cool, I tried out a Bugera combo, sounded pretty tight but the volume was fucking up on me,is that their flaw?

  • @TheBLOODLINEmusic not usually

  • @ABigMuffin yes you could, speaker cable and guitar cable doesn´t have the same capacitance, even though, it´s more dificult to fry a solid state amp it´s better go the safe way. . .and check the impedance. . .

  • @ABigMuffin PEAVY 6505+

  • @ABigMuffin dont use a guitar cable.. use a speaker cable and like the other guy said.. check the impedance on the amp is equal to or less than that of the cab

  • @ABigMuffin The cable that you need to use between a head and a cab has to be a SPEAKER cable not an INSTRUMENT cable. Since the instrument cable is shielded it wont be able to carry the required voltage out to the cab to make it rock and possibly shoot back to your head and fry it. Thats why you need a speaker cable. A $10 live wires 3ft cable is more than enough don't buy expensive ones cause they are not better, just more expensive.

  • @ABigMuffin

you have to take a speaker cable ;)

    i've got the line 6 hd 150

  • @ABigMuffin hey mate i have a 100 mg 100 hdfx head aand a few tube heads but i feel the randal celestion green backs are best fitting. and for line 6 go for a more digital friendly cab like kustom or line 6 or peavy. but as for a marshall cab it shpulkdnt fry it but it will sound like crap. cuz peavy and liune 6 put out shit cabs since their software is to handle the probs. so the software will fry normal cabs cuz speakers are doing their job. so software and good cabs ehh not such good idea

  • @ABigMuffin well bro not to sound mean or something but, if u want a good metal amp, save up for a tube head, like mesa boogie dual rectifier, engl fireball, engl powerball, marshall, krank, bogner, peavey, trust me man, solid state sounds good at low levels but it can never compare to an awesome tube amp with a nice marshall cab, orange cab, ect, i own a peavey 5150, and run it through a mg series had, i do also run a fulltone gt500 with the low end boost section, low end tube tone, killz bro.

  • @ABigMuffin Yes that is true, you cant use an instrument cable to hook your head up to the cab. They have different resistance and you will lose freaquncy. I have been playing metal for over 20 years now and the amp I use most is the Marshall 410H head and a 1960 a/b cab, you cant beat it. If you are on a budget I would suggest any tube amp as long as they have EL34 tubes in them and a good distortion peddle. If you choose a combo amp I highly suggest the Marshall 250FX.

  • @ABigMuffin (UPDATE:) I bought a peavey valveking 100 head with my marshall mg cab, butnow my peavey head is being serviced cause i turned it on and the whole amp blew and turned off and won't turn on, i checked if it was my cab and my cab is fine, i think i had a defective amp head from peavey, but im trying to upgrade my gear to most great sounding gear, im thinking of buying an orange cab along my peavey if i get it back with ibanez ts9 pedal with my noise suppressor from boss

  • hey there is a good sounding marshall head for once haha im a vintage randall guy. just got the dimebag WARHEAD!!!!!

  • ashes in your mouth!!!

  • Dave is player better than ever, his solos in Endgame are incredible

  • i really like how Dave, recognizes Doug a bunch. both killer players!

  • I like the way Dave shows respect and says, "Thanks Dr. Jim. It's been an honor for me..."

  • daves a badass guitar player

  • i love you daveeeeeeeeeeeeee hahaha

  • dave is fucking god man

  • hes such a fucking boss at the guitar

  • What does that guy yell out? Sounds like he says "I love you Dave", but then Dave says "Somebody is", so that would make no sense if the guy yelled that.

  • oh he says "good on ya dave" because of what dave was referencing before about how he loves them and stuuuuff

  • he yell out because he love dave, he has no shoe

and with shoe he does this "Heay Dave i love you here is my shoe" you know

    that told dave

  • Gotta love Dave!

  • how does he still have his ears intact?

  • the hairs.

  • moist of the times its not how loud it is its for how long and what are the predominate picking

  • What is the model of the amp head ?

  • JVM410H

  • Bhamo, El Colo! Megade, Megade...AGUANTE Megade!!!!

  • vamos colorado argentina te ama1!!!!!!!!!!!!

    megadeth megadeth aguante megadeth!!!!!

  • he could have played a little better but nonetheless he still kicked soo much asss!!

  • awesome live in newcastle!

  • Wow he sounds rusty

  • Probably isn't warmed up since it's just a demo.

  • what a beast.

  • First song is Ashes In Your Mouth if anyone is wondering.

  • isnt it symphony of destruction.....

  • No the first song he plays is at 4:01 and it's Ashes In Your Mouth.

  • Fk yeah Dave I just got that head yesterday

  • (L)

  • That shirt makes him look like he has a beer gut.

  • lol pretty true.

  • Sounds so heavy and... amazing.

  • yes this is why megadeth is awesome

i find it awesome that dave can shred like crazy but also knows when to stop, that is just as important than being able to

can hetfield solo, maybe, does he, no,

  • thats true maybe dave may not know all the theory bout it,but it isn't bout that the more you know the more you and the more you can overdo, there are like 10000 petrucci out there but who are actually unike, yes players with theyre own style like a mustaine, paige, blackmore, gilbert offcourse they learned from they're greats but play to they're minds.just do like you feel i believe guitar playing is reflecting your're personality.

  • well said. i see alot of wankfests going on at guitar center lol

  • hehehe true and some know it alls that actauuly play like shit.i think if you know you can play it's enough if you have a good and nice personality you can tell how good you are,i found myself in a situation at the guitar centre the guy from the store wanted to show him self etc etc and started bout theorie etc etc pretty lame stuff and that he studies at a git bla bla bla,he played some blues then i played and later on i was suprised i did that well couse the guy was frustrated bit by that.:).

  • Dave i love you! have my shoe!!

  • Comment removed

  • can i have it?

  • dave has a amazing amp but god damm Dean guitars are shit

  • Shut the Hell up Dean Guitar are BAdass Man

  • i have a Dean bass which is the worst bass i've ever played

  • So I dont care if its a bass I have the VMNT Gears Of War And its BadASS and it not shit like u said Fender are Shit The NECK is FUCKING HUGE ON A FENDER a VMNT has a really skinny neck ur able to play Fast and its also really comfy

  • cuz Fenders are for diffrent kind of music...i don't like the neck on a precision bass it's too fat...well Dave should have stuck to ESP..real guitars..ESP ftw

  • ARE U SHURE ITS U AND NOT THE BASS??

  • no im pretty sure having a ESP and a fretless Fender that it's not me

  • OK,THEN ESPS ARE FUKEN DOWN.

  • writing in caps makes you a pretty big douche...just because you make your letters big doesn't mean you got your point across

  • oops nah im not trying to seem like im screaming or somethin,i jus got use to haveing the caps on.

  • If dean guitars where crap Dave and Dimebag would never even have touch them, but they did so they can't be crap

  • well cause Pantera needed a dirty tone so i guess thats why...and remember that if someone payed you wads of cash to play their guitars you would..stuff from when he had his trusty ESP's sounds much better..nothing better then ESP when it comes to real metal guitars

  • Jackson guitars motherfucker.

  • Jackson guitars motherfucker.

  • I know..Jackson is superior in all ways to Dean guitars

  • Indeed.

  • Fuck no you biased retard, maybe if you read what Mustaine said when he started to play deans you would realize that the are better than crapy Jacksons... and far less ugly too.

  • dude a jackson kv2 or phil demmel guitar will kill any dean ur just a fan of cheap guitars like dean and they are crap

  • MrSred

I gotta dissagree, I was a huge fan of Jackson and just last week went to buy a KV but instead walked out with the Dave signature dean. If youve played it, it is a lot better action, not as bulky, not as heavy, and not as hard to sit down with as the Jackson. Other than his signature, i know nothing about dean product but hear its crap.

  • jacksons rule, the original metal guitar, deans rule too

  • Hell yeah! especially the CUstom shop.. Fk, Randy Rhoads used em.. Hand made in America, focused on metal guitars, Can't get better.

  • No ones get PAID to endorse. there are many different levels of endorsement and most all endorsee's get paid in custom instruments ONLY. Depending on how high an endorsee you are depends on home many fully custom spec instruments you get anually in most cases. keep in mind just because the model on the self looks like the real deal signature model you can bet you left nut that the production signature model has little direct relation to the actual artists custom guitar.

  • True true true. Allot of them are 'designed by' rather than the one they use. That said, 'designed by' is still often better than allot of the crap you get off the shelf. personally, buy a standard and customise it yourself! So you get your own signature model!

  • what a ridiculous comment to make... I don't think you understand, the guitars that Dave and Dime will play aren't really guna be the same Dean guitars that you or I would play. They are signature models which have been specifically designed to fit their requirements, so for them, they're probably great... But they're two unique guitars, they're not the same models they mass produce for the average joe who aren't special enough to have a signature model... They probably are a big pile of wank.

  • totally agree. They very rarely are anyting like the actual custom model made for the actual artist. Production models typically use MUCH cheaper quality woods like ash or bass wood and lesser quality hardware, like LICENCED floyd bridges as compaired to ACTUAL floyd , gotoh, etc etc. Also they will be 100% hand made by 1 luthier,as compaired to off a production line with many crafters contribting to the construction with aheap of mass produced assembly parts most often in another country, CHINA

  • Mustaine is fuckin amazing!!!

Holy Wars in this new marshall is great!

  • does anyone know settings for metal zone or zoom 505 II

    to sound like dave??

    PLEASE!!

  • i have to ask:

why are those dudes are so.... so quiet :S??
