i have a question i have a lvl 11 black orc and i cant decide how to make him better should i stick with the one hander and shield or should i stick with the 2hander ? get back to me on my page
I LOVED enchant twinking my black orc. He had 3x as much strength and health as he should have at tier 1, and a damn fine 1 up on everyone in subsequent tiers.
i play both games. WoW and WAR, and the only reason i keep playing WoW is because most of my friends dont have the pc power to play WAR. To be honest though WAR is better at PvP and WoW is the best PvE, and im a bigger PvP fan than PvE but i like to mix it up a bit so i dont get burnt out. But i like WAR and its not bad and the keep sieges are amazing and im not going to stop playing this game for a long time to come. See you in WAR =]

Wow is nowadays full of kids.. theres no more skilled players. everyone gets everything by doing nothing. pvp screwed up and pve is easy as hell.. well dunno about Ulduar but still. Warhammer online seems to have THE most boring combatsystem i have ever seen. I always see the same 2 attacks from Blackorcs. And the movement looks stiff. Even WoW had more action in pvp, atleast when i played a warr there.

when i played wow i used the unstuck and then a bit after i used the harth. So im pretty sure it doesnt use the same cooldown unless they pathced it. (havent played in a while)

hey JehMoh the classes for the Chaos are (first one is Chosen it is a tank/DPS next is the Magus it is basically a demon summoner like the warlock from WoW but has like a ploating hover pad for transportation and is a ranged spell caster the next one is the Zealot it is a healer basically he does debuff's and heals like the Greenskin shaman but shaman is better ill put greenskin description in next comment but the last one is a class called the Maurader he is a class mainly on Melee/DPS he kills
Could someone sum up all of the WAR Chaos classes? they seem so confusing with the like huge old time description of their powers, someone break em down simply for me, i want chaos, but i dunno the classes well enough to decide
Chosen= tank the uses auras to debuff enemies but they are also very good in RvR marauder= melee dps uses mutations as a off hand weapon and magus is summons deamons and zelot is a healer :)

wrong, the scenarios in WAR are similar to AV in WOW, but the scoring system is completely different in each scenario. In Nordenwatch for example; the only base really worth having control of is the Fortress at 40 points, the other bases barely give you more points than a kill, a smart team will hold the Fortress and then just slaughter the rest of them, don't get me wrong though, it is nice to have at least one of the other bases.
sorry..but warhammer is going to take most of the hardcore PVP players off WOW. All my friends are leaving WOW for warhammer, and after i beta tested this game, i have to say, scenarios make the game way better than WOW's shitty ass battlegrounds.

at end game u put ur OWN trophies onto ur armor such as human skulls elf ears on ur belt ect ect, and dnt forget standards that can be carried for the guild standard bearer which can be a max of 3 ppl depending on guild lvl, as well as when u lvl up ur char changes like orcs get bigger but chaos get a random change which adds a bit of difference for them to and with the extra's u can do to ur armor its always unique to player.
great but still they claim that the character customization will be unique and diffrent so in beta they should test this as long as the other stuff to test but frankly if you paint your character with pink and put some trophyes it will look more then ridiculous and stupid but that is my personal opinion. The characters should look heroic and cool but as far as i saw they get off the best looking classes and their armour sets but in future i hope they bring them back.
GOA sad that every player will be unique but as far as i saw for now all of the black orcs on this vid are all the same no trophyes no cool stuff like they say if they give as a no cool game i hope they are all fired and the game become free
well this was added a while back, most likely they didnt have the die or trophy on the beta and you probally can only look exactly the same in beta, because ive seen some newer beta and there are blue, black, red and even pink zealot running around lol
Everybody needs to shut up about what is the best mmo. Every mmo has stengths and weaknesses. I mean WoW was pretty good at PvE. But even fanboys have to agree that the PvP in it SUCKS BAD. I think we will all enjoy WAR even if it's not the top mmo.
Wow pvp was NEVER good, wow's pvp system is basically virtual rock paper scissors. The honor system was only there to protect low lvls from getting ganked, but that only mattered to people that actually cared for honor.
WoW PvP system might have worked... but its too fast. When u go to BG as - lets say 15 lvl mage, any little higher level rogue can come, pop u in the back BOOM! and ur dead... and that just keeps going like that repeatetly.
Maybe thats because rogues are a counter-class to casters and that entering a battleground at level 15 is stupid since twinks will 1 hit you regardless.

from wat i heard all classes and races start of fully geared so all black orcs have same armour and sheilds and so on so forth .....i no that wen you kill ppl you get trophies to put on your armour and wat not but not sure if there is more armour types
Collision with enemy units opens up a different tactical aspect in Warhammer that most MMO's do not have. You can create living walls and surround your support to protect them from melee and such.
its just like all other games, u begin with normal shitarmor and PVE or PVP or Craft ur own, tho The Craft will be not like other games, these items are really Improtant to have.. then mass crating many things and just give them away or sell them..(another warhammer video). This is beta like a test version so u are automaticly given some armorparts and a a weapon to start with. Only Pre-Orders will get an item when they start the game after release, not those who doesn't have collectors editon
look at all the particle effects O.o how can people say that the graphics are the same as WoW after watching this, and this is still beta! I have found the ultimate cure for WoW addiction... WAR addiction!
Believe right now the beta is Windows only users so I'd assume it would be the same. As far as system requirements go I'm not sure. Being a Mac user this was a big let down for me.
I'm a current WOW player, but i've also plated DAOC for 3 years. And i can tell that both have their strengths. But the gameplay is going to make this game bring in the $. Graphics are nice, but gameplay dictates any game. Fun=still playing. and the graphics are up to par with most mmorpg's. Still in beta, so not a finished product
I don't really think it is just the gameplay, I prefer the gameplay myself but quite a lot of people will go for Graphics and so on so really they need to be at near full strength on all aspects I think.
no they wernt stolen tolkien, d&d, wow, war and almost every other fantsy game has based these races (ie dwarfs trolls orcs) on anciant mytholgy for example the norse had dwarfs and many others in there religion and any way this is how games (and books) work

Trust me some of the combat may look like WoW. (and btw warhammer could of sued Wow to ashes if they wanted to..) But really Mythic is much more innovative like being able to Pillage citys and having public quests. Being able to level of PvP and making open world pvp a huge part in the game. and Plus WoW doesnt have half the cool things war does like guild levels titles, and being able to capture a point and put up you guild flag like a city.Also WoW doesnt have City levels like War does.War>WoW

Dwarf Engineer: Wow Has nothing like this in WoW an engineer is a profession and has maybe 5 things useful for PvP it but in War you can make turrets and guns and Bombs.
War also has Siege Weapons( I know its coming in WotLK) WoW didnt creat orcs and dwarfs and shit no ones copying WoW at the least WoW copied War/D&D adding like 2 classes

If anything WoW ripped off Warhammer. Warhammer was in the industry way longer, its just that WoW rushed to make a game using stolen ideas and a similar name.

I had the same specs on my older computer.
The video card is too low.
you'll need a newer computer just for a better video card.because you have a PCI slot.
and most computers now'a days have different slots.

It used the Hearthstone cooldown if it was "ready". You could still auto-unstuck anyway (though I think it still had a timer for the unstuck thing)

I left WOW for AOC, but AOC is a ghost town.
I played for 5 hours today and never even saw anyone else!
Plus, AOC is "Free For All" PVP; really stupid.
WAR is gonna be my new WOW replacement for sure.

great but still they claim that the character customization will be unique and diffrent so in beta they should test this as long as the other stuff to test but frankly if you paint your character with pink and put some trophyes it will look more then ridiculous and stupid but that is my personal opinion. The characters should look heroic and cool but as far as i saw they get off the best looking classes and their armour sets but in future i hope they bring them back.

well this was added a while back, most likely they didnt have the die or trophy on the beta and you probally can only look exactly the same in beta, because ive seen some newer beta and there are blue, black, red and even pink zealot running around lol

Everybody needs to shut up about what is the best mmo. Every mmo has stengths and weaknesses. I mean WoW was pretty good at PvE. But even fanboys have to agree that the PvP in it SUCKS BAD. I think we will all enjoy WAR even if it's not the top mmo.

BG's are fucking crap, and the only class remotely challenging to play(in the olden days) was rogue vs better geared opponents.
Pvp was good in the worldpvp days, but you were probably still grinding in maple-story.
Honor system and dishonor system killed wow pvp forever.
And i dont know what retard argues that wow is bettter because in WAR(beta) everyone looks the same.
In wow, at 70, with good gear, everyone looks the same as well.

Wow pvp was NEVER good, wow's pvp system is basically virtual rock paper scissors. The honor system was only there to protect low lvls from getting ganked, but that only mattered to people that actually cared for honor.

WoW PvP system might have worked... but its too fast. When u go to BG as - lets say 15 lvl mage, any little higher level rogue can come, pop u in the back BOOM! and ur dead... and that just keeps going like that repeatetly.

Maybe thats because rogues are a counter-class to casters and that entering a battleground at level 15 is stupid since twinks will 1 hit you regardless.

Collision with enemy units opens up a different tactical aspect in Warhammer that most MMO's do not have. You can create living walls and surround your support to protect them from melee and such.

its just like all other games, u begin with normal shitarmor and PVE or PVP or Craft ur own, tho The Craft will be not like other games, these items are really Improtant to have.. then mass crating many things and just give them away or sell them..(another warhammer video). This is beta like a test version so u are automaticly given some armorparts and a a weapon to start with. Only Pre-Orders will get an item when they start the game after release, not those who doesn't have collectors editon

Believe right now the beta is Windows only users so I'd assume it would be the same. As far as system requirements go I'm not sure. Being a Mac user this was a big let down for me.

I'm a current WOW player, but i've also plated DAOC for 3 years. And i can tell that both have their strengths. But the gameplay is going to make this game bring in the $. Graphics are nice, but gameplay dictates any game. Fun=still playing. and the graphics are up to par with most mmorpg's. Still in beta, so not a finished product

I don't really think it is just the gameplay, I prefer the gameplay myself but quite a lot of people will go for Graphics and so on so really they need to be at near full strength on all aspects I think.

no they wernt stolen tolkien, d&d, wow, war and almost every other fantsy game has based these races (ie dwarfs trolls orcs) on anciant mytholgy for example the norse had dwarfs and many others in there religion and any way this is how games (and books) work
i mean almost every monster in harry potter (even fluffy) is from mytholgy and thats what they do they take things peaople already know and love and put them in there games if norse haddnt beleved in dwarfs they wouldnt be in wow or war!!!

Black Orcs are actually very different than Orc Choppas besides the Armor vs Attack thing
Orc Choppas are more of a berserker class which uses skills that allow it to attack fast and hard
Black Orcs are a tank class with many debuffs which are used to cripple the opponent to allow the Black Orc to beat it to death

Mythic Entertainment has created a truly addictive 'PVP' environment, or as most DAoC veterans would call it, 'RVR'. Calling this a WoW-ripoff is laughable; just because the user-interface has some close relations hardly means that it's the same game.

I'm more of a twitch player. Auto-attack + spamming 1-2 buttons isn't my forte.
As for "truely addictive" etc, sure. But I'm just going off what I've seen and heard. To me, it's just not that exciting.

Trust me some of the combat may look like WoW. (and btw warhammer could of sued Wow to ashes if they wanted to..) But really Mythic is much more innovative like being able to Pillage citys and having public quests. Being able to level of PvP and making open world pvp a huge part in the game. and Plus WoW doesnt have half the cool things war does like guild levels titles, and being able to capture a point and put up you guild flag like a city.Also WoW doesnt have City levels like War does.War>WoW

I couldve kept going but I ran out of spaces. Wow doesnt have 24 classes and WoW does not have the base of Lore warhammer does. A cool class example
Dwarf Engineer: Wow Has nothing like this in WoW an engineer is a profession and has maybe 5 things useful for PvP it but in War you can make turrets and guns and Bombs.
War also has Siege Weapons( I know its coming in WotLK) WoW didnt creat orcs and dwarfs and shit no ones copying WoW at the least WoW copied War/D&D adding like 2 classes
